“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 59: 2
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should in holiness very carefully and participate in the holy feast.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not fret regarding our people (the church, our brothers).
Next what we are meditating upon is that
2 Samuel 14: 24 – 33
And the king said, “Let him return to his own house, but do not let him see my face.” So Absalom returned to his own house but did not see the king’s face.
Now in all Israel there was no one who was praised as much as Absalom for his good looks. From the sole of his foot to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
And when he cut the hair of his head—at the end of every year he cut it because it was heavy on him—when he cut it, he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels according to the king’s standard. To Absalom were born three sons, and one daughter whose name was Tamar. She was a woman of beautiful appearance.
And Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem but did not see the king’s face.
Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to send him to the king, but he would not come to him. And when he sent again the second time, he would not come.
So he said to his servants, “See, Joab’s field is near mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.” And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.
Then Joab arose and came to Absalom’s house, and said to him, “Why have your servants set my field on fire?”
And Absalom answered Joab, “Look, I sent to you, saying, ‘Come here, so that I may send you to the king, to say, “Why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me to be there still.”’ Now therefore, let me see the king’s face; but if there is iniquity in me, let him execute me.”
So Joab went to the king and told him. And when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king. Then the king kissed Absalom.
In the above-mentioned verses, after bringing Absalom from Geshur to Jerusalem the king said, “Let him return to his own house, but do not let him see my face.” So Absalom returned to his own house but did not see the king’s face. So he said to his servants, “See, Joab’s field is near mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.” And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire. And when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king. Then the king kissed Absalom.
My dear people, all the above-mentioned things is regarding the church, the body of Christ and within that church how the unjust deeds are formed and due to that what is happening and how the Lord is seeing that and due to his deeds if we repent and renewed and God is showing this as a pattern. That is, the soul of Ammon in the member of the body of the one Christ because it lusted one there the mind is being made desolate and the soul is being killed. But the one who was responsible for the killing of the soul, was not able to stand before Christ the king so hid and goes away far from the Lord. But the Lord who corrects this calls him and hides his face for that soul to repent he makes him stay in Jerusalem. After staying in Jerusalem for two years he has a desire to see his father in his soul. In this manner in his soul a heavy thing is that we must see God and that is shown as a pattern. Because there was a thought to somehow fulfil that in the soul, God is fulfilling that thought. The reason for that is because of his love and we must think about it. My dear people, in this manner the reason for God is hide his face is because he called for a feast with evil thoughts and there because the soul was killed the Lord is becoming very sad. In this manner, many servants of God like Absalom with evil thoughts prepared a feast which was not holy and kept it so people who lived with lusts of the world came and participated and are destroying their soul.
Therefore, the word of God in
1 Corinthians 11: 30
For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
According to the above-mentioned verses, God is judging us. But to those who are preparing the holy feast because they are responsible for the killing of the soul he is hiding his face and we must know that and confess our mistakes and bow ourselves down to the face and if we worship him then the Lord will accept us. In this manner, let us confess our mistakes to the Lord so that the Lord will make his face towards us and for him to accept us to his presence let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
