“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 53: 10
Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should receive the eternal mercy that does not leave us from the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should worship the Lord with a loud voice filled with the Holy Spirit and possess the blessings from Him.
Next what we are meditating upon is that
2 Samuel 7: 1 - 7
Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies all around,
that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”
Then Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you.”
But it happened that night that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying,
“Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?
For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle.
Wherever I have moved about with all the children of Israel, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned word of God, after they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings in the presence of the Lord, then the Lord gave him rest from all his enemies all around and made him rest and dwell in his house. When he was resting and dwelling in his house in this manner, David the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.” Then Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you.” But it happened that night that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Would you build a house for Me to dwell in? For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle. Wherever I have moved about with all the children of Israel, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’
Also, what the Lord said to tell in
2 Samuel 7: 8 – 17
Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.
And I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.
Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously,
since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.
“When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.
But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”
According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.
The above-mentioned verses are the Lord took David from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. And he has been with him wherever he went and have cut off all his enemies from before him, and have made him a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Your throne shall be established forever.” According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.
My dear people, we must meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord carefully. That is, in our life many tribulations will come like how they came for David. But if we have to win from all these we must be anointed by the Lord. In this manner, when we stand against the enemies and fight against them not us, he who is fighting for us is our Lord. But our soul should be filled with the words of the Lord. Also, when we submit ourselves completely to the Lord, then the Lord will remove us from the hands of the enemies, deliver us and remove our wanderings and makes us rest in the house. When we attain rest in this manner, we must not be that this life is enough but, in our soul, we must give the Lord the most important place in everything. Then to make sure that we are not oppressed as children who have done evil against justice, the Lord will plant us in his presence. Then our soul will be as the house of the Lord. The eternal house (Christ) shows us this as a pattern and God is telling the prophet Nathan and sending him that the Lord will make the house for David. Also, to raise up our soul as a church God with patterns is explaining and saying that I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. That is, our soul as the kingdom of Christ and the life in it as Christ God is giving us and he is revealing himself as our Father and we as his son. If we do iniquity, he gives us pressure by men and those who are saved, and he is saying that he will punish us. But the mercy of Christ is a mercy that never departs and his house, kingdom will always be established, and his throne will be established forever says the Lord. Therefore, each one of us should submit ourselves to receive the eternal mercy that never leaves us.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
