“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Hebrews 12: 14
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should not do any kind of presumptuous sins and we must safeguard ourselves.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church to become as the eternal house, we should destroy the deeds of the Philistines.
Next what we are meditating upon is that
2 Samuel 6: 1 – 8
Again David gathered all the choice men of Israel, thirty thousand.
And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called by the Name, the Lord of Hosts, who dwells between the cherubim.
So they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.
And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill, accompanying the ark of God; and Ahio went before the ark.
Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the Lord on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals.
And when they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled.
Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.
And David became angry because of the Lord’s outbreak against Uzzah; and he called the name of the place Perez Uzzah to this day.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, after David defeated the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer, David gathered all the choice men of Israel, thirty thousand.
My dear people, the facts regarding the above-mentioned verses are that after the Lord has built us up as his house, the ark of God means he is showing this as a pattern to the word of the Lord. In our life, always the word of the Lord should be filled in our soul. That is what, the ark of God was set on a cart, and it is said that the oxen are bearing and bringing them. But those who were leading and bringing them because they are not holy, the oxen are stumbling. Because Uzzah held it boldly, in that place the Lord is striking him. He is dying near the ark. God is showing this as a pattern, and it is written regarding the way how the Lord is leading the church of God. Therefore we must safeguard the word of God and in holiness we sing of the Lord, praise him, and glorify him and we must worship him and without holiness we cannot see God and he is showing this. Also, we in front of God we must never boldly sin and if we boldly sin God’s punishment will occur quickly. Also, without holiness if we worship the Lord then the Lord will punish us. Therefore we must never boldly do sin and we must safeguard ourselves. Also, we must submit ourselves to Lord to be holy always.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
