“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
2 Corinthians 5: 1
For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church to become as the eternal house we should destroy the deeds of the Philistines.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should be as Zion and be as those whose eyes are opened and as those who obey the words of the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that
2 Samuel 5: 11 – 25
Then Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters and masons. And they built David a house.
So David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted His kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.
And David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he had come from Hebron. Also more sons and daughters were born to David.
Now these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia,
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.
Now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went down to the stronghold.
The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim.
So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.”
So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
And they left their images there, and David and his men carried them away.
Then the Philistines went up once again and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim.
Therefore David inquired of the Lord, and He said, “You shall not go up; circle around behind them and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees.
And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly. For then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”
And David did so, as the Lord commanded him; and he drove back the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.
In the above-mentioned verses, in our spiritual growth regarding how we can change into Zion God is showing us as a pattern and explaining to us. After we have changed into Zion only, we are becoming as the body of Christ, the church. In this manner, if we do not change the king of Tyre will come into our soul and regarding this God is showing as a pattern that David got the stronghold of Zion and after he made that place as the City of David, Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters and masons. And they built David a house. So David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted His kingdom for the sake of His people Israel. And David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he had come from Hebron. Also more sons and daughters were born to David. Now these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem:

2 Samuel 5: 20, 21

And they left their images there, and David and his men carried them away.
In the above-mentioned verses, it is written that David drove away the Philistines. In this manner, the place where they were driven away, and he beat them he named it as Baal Perazim. The Philistines left their images there, and David and his men carried them away. Then the Philistines went up once again and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim. Therefore David inquired of the Lord, and He said, “You shall not go up; circle around behind them and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. My dear people, God changing us into his house and that as an eternal house as the New Jerusalem when we are being blessed in the beginning the spirits of the Philistines to destroy our spiritual fruits will work in our soul and bring many worldly desires and will make us go far away from Christ. Also, whenever we are overcoming the world, and the desires of the world then at those times again and again the desires of the world and lusts with keep arising in our mind. That is what, again and again in the life of David it is written that the Philistines camped. Showing this as a pattern, David overcame and named it as Baal Perazim and is burning the images there with fire. In this manner, in our soul also for God to burn the images the Holy Fire descends in our soul and burns the foreign fires and purifies us and makes us holy. In this manner when we become holy God is blessing us as New Jerusalem. Then due to this, the word of God will go to many souls and creates them, and Christ gives birth to many sons and daughters. Therefore, we must be as those who carefully drive away the Philistines from our soul. God will fight for us and let us submit ourselves for him to destroy the deeds of the Philistines.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
