“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Proverbs 10: 29

The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should be careful and receive back the rewards that went away from us again.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that if we, the bride, the church in any circumstance should receive the guidance from God and be as those who overcome in the spiritual fight.

Next what we are meditating upon is that,

2 Samuel 3: 1 Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker. Also, the sons were born to David in Hebron in.

 2 Samuel 3: 2 – 5 Sons were born to David in Hebron: His firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;

his second, Chileab, by Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite; the third, Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur;

the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;

and the sixth, Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah. These were born to David in Hebron.

The above-mentioned are the sons who were born to David in Hebron. Now it was so, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner was strengthening his hold on the house of Saul. And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah. So Ishbosheth said to Abner, “Why have you gone into my father’s concubine?” Then Abner became very angry at the words of Ishbosheth, and said, “Am I a dog’s head that belongs to Judah? Today I show loyalty to the house of Saul your father, to his brothers, and to his friends, and have not delivered you into the hand of David; and you charge me today with a fault concerning this woman? May God do so to Abner, and more also, if I do not do for David as the Lord has sworn to him— to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan to Beersheba.” And he could not answer Abner another word, because he feared him.

Then Abner in,

 2 Samuel 3: 12 Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to David, saying, “Whose is the land?” saying also, “Make your covenant with me, and indeed my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel to you.”

The above-mentioned words Abner due to his anger on Ishbosheth sent his messengers to David to make a covenant with Abner and said that indeed my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel to you. And David said, “Good, I will make a covenant with you. But one thing I require of you: you shall not see my face unless you first bring Michal, Saul’s daughter, when you come to see my face.” So David sent messengers to Ishbosheth, Saul’s son, saying, “Give me my wife Michal, whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines.”

My dear people, when we meditate this to unite Israel and Judah as one God is creating an opportunity. Abner, the commander of Saul’s army after the death of Saul because he made Ishbosheth as king Israel and Judah got separated and started fighting. But by using Abner God is trying to fulfil the covenant that he gave David and to establish the throne of David upon Israel and Judah he is creating an opportunity. Also, to redeem the wife who left David and went God is creating a time. But Abner when he is telling to make a covenant with Israel he is sending his messengers to tell Ishbosheth as a proof that for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines he received his wife and he wants to receive her back again and is sending them. In this manner in any circumstance if the bride, the church has left from us in any time when we did not expect God if we are truthful, he will give us the reward that we have lost. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to receive it again.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
