“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Matthew 20: 28
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should as those who live for the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should submit all the things that are there with our soul to Christ.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Samuel 30: 21, 22 Now David came to the two hundred men who had been so weary that they could not follow David, whom they also had made to stay at the Brook Besor. So they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him. And when David came near the people, he greeted them.
Then all the wicked and worthless men of those who went with David answered and said, “Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any of the spoil that we have recovered, except for every man’s wife and children, that they may lead them away and depart.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, David came to the two hundred men who had been so weary that they could not follow David, whom they also had made to stay at the Brook Besor.
So David said in 1 Samuel 30: 23 But David said, “My brethren, you shall not do so with what the Lord has given us, who has preserved us and delivered into our hand the troop that came against us.
The above-mentioned words are that if God gives us goodness, those blessings should be distributed among all the people in the church of God. Also David said but as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike.” So it was, from that day forward; he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day. In this manner, our Lord Jesus Christ started the apostolic ministry. Also, the apostles the blessings that the Lord is giving them keep them at the feet of the Lord and all experienced it together. Because of that they had fullness of grace. Also, in giving no one had less and it is written so. Also, in Matthew 20: 8 – 15 “So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’
And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius.
But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius.
And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner,
saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’
But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?
Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you.
Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’
To explain this, he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day as a pattern. Also, when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the spoil to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying, “Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord”— Also to whom it was sent is that 1 Samuel 30: 27 – 31 to those who were in Bethel, those who were in Ramoth of the South, those who were in Jattir,
those who were in Aroer, those who were in Siphmoth, those who were in Eshtemoa,
those who were in Rachal, those who were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, those who were in the cities of the Kenites,
those who were in Hormah, those who were in Chorashan, those who were in Athach,
those who were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were accustomed to rove.
My dear people, when we see the facts regarding the above-mentioned verses, in the church of the Lord brothers gathering in unity and when they are worshipping in one mind there will be great glory to the Lord. We will be filled by that glory of God. When we are filled by the glory of God in this manner, the evil deeds against us will be destroyed and we will be made holy. In this manner, we will fight the spiritual war and the Holy Spirit who dwells in us will overcome the foreign deeds of the Gentiles. For this as a pattern the Lord in the Old Testament is causing the Israelites and the Gentiles to fight. The Holy Bible is for heaven and not for the world. These, only those with spiritual gifts will be able to know. Others cannot know this. Also, all the blessings which the Lord gives all belong to the Lord and we must realize this and submit ourselves to live for the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
