“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 143: 10

Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should not have wrong thoughts regarding anyone and we must safeguard our soul.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should eat the bread of Christ and become a man of understanding.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Samuel 22: 1 - 8 David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him.

And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.

Then David went from there to Mizpah of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and mother come here with you, till I know what God will do for me.”

So he brought them before the king of Moab, and they dwelt with him all the time that David was in the stronghold.

Now the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold; depart, and go to the land of Judah.” So David departed and went into the forest of Hereth.

When Saul heard that David and the men who were with him had been discovered—now Saul was staying in Gibeah under a tamarisk tree in Ramah, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants standing about him—

then Saul said to his servants who stood about him, “Hear now, you Benjamites! Will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands and captains of hundreds?

All of you have conspired against me, and there is no one who reveals to me that my son has made a covenant with the son of Jesse; and there is not one of you who is sorry for me or reveals to me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as it is this day.”

David escaped from King Achish and came to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him. Then David went from there to Mizpah of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and mother come here with you, till I know what God will do for me.”  So he brought them before the king of Moab, and they dwelt with him all the time that David was in the stronghold. Now the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold; depart, and go to the land of Judah.” So David departed and went into the forest of Hereth. When Saul heard that David and the men who were with him had been discovered—now Saul was staying in Gibeah under a tamarisk tree in Ramah, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants standing about him—  then Saul said to his servants who stood about him, “Hear now, you Benjamites!

My dear people, when we analyze regarding the words mentioned above such kind of things will come upon us also. This is because the flesh fights against the Spirit and the Spirit fights the flesh always and this is the word of the Lord. The reason for this is that we see that even inside the house of Abraham there were two things. If there are two things inside a house like this, our life will always be filled with tribulations. That is why God is telling Abraham to send the generation of the flesh outside. Not only that, when we see here God is anointing Saul as the King of Israel and then later because of his disobedience and jealousy he is sending a distressing spirit within him. Not only that but he is anointing David as the king of Israel. For the past few days, we have been meditating regarding this. We do not think that these are the deeds of the world and God is showing this as a pattern of the tribulations that are there in our soul. That is, if we do not obey the law of the Lord then distressing spirit and when we obey his voice the Spirit of the Lord is being poured. That is, when the distressing spirit is rising within us, the Spirit of the Lord, when we praise God with his harp, flutes and tambourines evil thoughts will leave away from us. This distressing spirit will search for opportunities to destroy our soul. But the Spirit of the Lord does not submit us in its hands. The Spirit of the Lord only will destroy the deeds of the Philistines that arise in our soul. We cannot win with the spirit of Saul, which does not have a truthful life. It will always put us into tribulations. Also, wrong thoughts will keep rising in our soul against those who have the Spirit of the Lord. That is how, David and Jonathan did not think anything against Saul, they only looked for a way to escape but they did not want to kill him. But Saul with the distressing spirit wanted to kill them and that was his thought. In this manner, against us also if any one either secretly or openly if they are planning cunningly against us then they do not have the Spirit of Christ and we can prove that and we must learn to be careful in our life. Also, in our soul we must not give place to two deeds and choose the most holy life and receive the good spirit. Also, in the coming days God willing we will meditate the situation that comes for those who do not receive the good spirit. Therefore let us submit ourselves to receive the good spirit and to live as the child of Christ.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
