“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Galatians 6: 7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should always walk with understanding and with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not be envious of anyone or others due to any reason.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Samuel 18: 9 - 16 So Saul eyed David from that day forward.
And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand, as at other times; but there was a spear in Saul’s hand.
And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice.
Now Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him, but had departed from Saul.
Therefore Saul removed him from his presence and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.
And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.
Therefore, when Saul saw that he behaved very wisely, he was afraid of him.
But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.
In the above-mentioned verses, due to the envy that was there in the soul of Saul he looked at David with envy.
Therefore, my dear people the facts regarding the above-mentioned words is that due to envy God sent a distressing spirit in the heart with envy. But if we have received the truthful spirit, which is the spirit of God in all the places we will walk with patience and with understanding. If we will walk in this manner truthfully and in holiness the people with the distressing spirit due to envy with talk with many types of cunningness and lies against those with the good spirit. They will do many things. By many cunning lies and teachings they will put the people in their ways. But when such kind of things come we must not worry for anything, we must not become weary. We must go near to God greatly and if we will grow greatly in holiness whoever may sow anything regarding us they will reap the reward according to that and there is no doubt in this. In this manner only Saul walked against David. But though David had tribulations because of Saul for the time being, God was with David. But because Saul was envious of David, Saul had to go to the same David.
Therefore, my dear people who are reading this, we must be careful and turn towards the Lord. However after we come to know the Lord each one of us will reap the reward of whatever we have sown. Therefore, let us repent today and receive forgiveness so that we do not perish like Saul let us submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
