“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Proverbs 28: 26
He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church in our journey of faith by the deeds of Amalekites we should not lose the eternal life and should safeguard it.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should accept the Lord as our God wholeheartedly with our whole mind, whole heart, whole soul and we must live by following Him.
Next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 15: 32 - 35 Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag king of the Amalekites here to me.” So Agag came to him cautiously. And Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”
But Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag in pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.
Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house at Gibeah of Saul.
And Samuel went no more to see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul, and the Lord regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel.
According to the above-mentioned words, because Saul called Samuel again to worship the Lord, he went along with him and followed Saul. Saul worshipped the Lord. Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag king of the Amalekites here to me.” So Agag came to him cautiously. And Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”
My dear people, in this manner only many among us, those with deeds of the Amalekites even though the soul does sins which leads unto death, we carelessly think that there is no problem.
Then Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag in pieces before the Lord in Gilgal. Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house at Gibeah of Saul. And Samuel went no more to see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul, and the Lord regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel.
My dear people, what Saul did not do God did using Samuel and we see that he hacked Agag the king of Amalekites into pieces. Therefore in our journey of faith everyday in the thoughts in our soul the deeds of Agag (the deeds which prevent the salvation of our soul) should be destroyed then God will be pleased with us. In this manner, in every thing let us submit to the will of God.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
