“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Luke 9: 23

Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should be as those who hate ourselves completely.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should always obey the Lord and be truthful.

Next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 15: 1 - 8 Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt.

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred-thousand-foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.

And Saul came to a city of Amalek and lay in wait in the valley.

Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt.

He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

In the above-mentioned verses, Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’” So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred-thousand-foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.

Then in 1 Samuel 15: 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Saul and the people people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.

My dear people, the above-mentioned things are being given as a pattern for us. That is, the Israelites when they returned from Egypt the Amalekites ambushed them on the way means that we who were in the sinful bondage of Egypt, God through his blood he redeemed us and when we leave this world’s deeds and repent and come to him, when any evil deeds and thoughts of the world oppresses us we will one by one leave and go away from God. Therefore, God is telling that the Amalekites should be destroyed completely. But Saul is catching their king alive. Also, all the first hand and second hand good things are being spared. This means that many among us leave away things are less and useless and safeguard things which are expensive and are saying that we have overcome the world just like Saul said. But God is watching everything.

Therefore let us submit ourselves to destroy completely all the fame of the world, status and the thoughts of pride in our mind, that is the things of the world away from our soul.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
