“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 41: 15

“Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small and make the hills like chaff.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church everyday with new deeds should make our soul sharpened with holiness.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church cannot forsake the law of the Lord and tell any reason.

But next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 13: 14 – 16 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

Then Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people present with him, about six hundred men.

Saul, Jonathan his son, and the people present with them remained in Gibeah of Benjamin. But the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Saul forsook the law of the Lord and because he offered the burnt offering God is using Samuel and telling him that your kingdom will not continue. In this manner, Samuel after he had told Saul the Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” Then Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people present with him, about six hundred men. Saul, Jonathan his son, and the people present with them remained in Gibeah of Benjamin. But the Philistines encamped in Michmash. Then raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies.

That is, in 1 Samuel 13: 17 – 22 Then raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies. One company turned onto the road to Ophrah, to the land of Shual,

another company turned to the road to Beth Horon, and another company turned to the road of the border that overlooks the Valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make swords or spears.”

But all the Israelites would go down to the Philistines to sharpen each man’s plowshare, his mattock, his ax, and his sickle;

and the charge for a sharpening was a pim for the plowshares, the mattocks, the forks, and the axes, and to set the points of the goads.

So it came about, on the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan. But they were found with Saul and Jonathan his son.

My dear people, the explanation of this is that when the Israelites fight a spiritual war from generation to generation with other Gentiles, God is showing as a pattern that he will fight for them. For that only, God is anointing us every morning with new grace and makes us new and sharp. In this manner, let us submit ourselves for him to make us as sharpened arrows that pierce.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
