“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 86: 12

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should serve our Lord Jesus Christ with our whole heart, whole mind and whole soul.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that the one who rules us, the bride, the church should be our Lord Jesus Christ. But the children of Israel said we need a king to stand with us and rule over us and because they asked in this manner God made Saul as a king for them. Then the Lord is warning the Israelites to heed to the voice of the Lord.

Then, what he is telling is that 1 Samuel 12: 16 – 18 “Now therefore, stand and see this great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes:

Is today not the wheat harvest? I will call to the Lord, and He will send thunder and rain, that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking a king for yourselves.”

So Samuel called to the Lord, and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

The above-mentioned words are showing us as a pattern that the Lord will do great things before us and in the days of the wheat harvest (day of the harvest of the soul) if we do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, that is, instead of hoping on the Lord if we will have our hope on man then what the Lord is showing as a pattern is that when Samuel prayed to the Lord, he sent thunder and rain. Then the children of Israel feared the Lord and Samuel greatly and all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves.” Then Samuel said to the people, in 1 Samuel 12: 20 – 25 Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord but serve the Lord with all your heart.

And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.

For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.

Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.

Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

The facts regarding the above-mentioned verses are that if we serve our Lord Jesus with our whole heart and whole mind and to fear him and walk according to his commandments God is showing Saul to us as a pattern. But if we will have our hope on men we will be destroyed and he is telling this. Therefore, my dear people let us be as those who serve God with our whole heart and whole mind. Let us submit ourselves in this manner.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
