“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 80: 7
Restore us, O God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should never forget the benefits which the Lord has done.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should be as a good witness according to Christ.
Next, what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 12: 6 – 8 Then Samuel said to the people, “It is the Lord who raised up Moses and Aaron, and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt.
Now therefore, stand still, that I may reason with you before the Lord concerning all the righteous acts of the Lord which He did to you and your fathers:
When Jacob had gone into Egypt, and your fathers cried out to the Lord, then the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, what Samuel told the people is that it is the Lord who raised up Moses and Aaron, and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt. Now therefore, stand still, that I may reason with you before the Lord concerning all the righteous acts of the Lord which He did to you and your fathers: Then Samuel said that when Jacob had gone into Egypt, and your fathers cried out to the Lord, then the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.
And when they forgot the Lord their God, in 1 Samuel 12: 9 And when they forgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.
By the above-mentioned words, God sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them. Therefore they, in 1 Samuel 12: 10 Then they cried out to the Lord, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord and served the Baals and Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.’
According to what is said above, they submitted themselves in the presence of the Lord.
My dear people, we also left the truth and left the way and forgot the goodness that the Lord did and because we have done things which should not be done, God is submitting us into the hands of the enemy. If we again cry to the Lord, he will deliver us from all troubles and save us. Therefore, my dear people we must never forget the benefits that the Lord has done for us. In this manner let us submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
