“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 9: 1
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvellous works.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church let us submit ourselves to the will of the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that God gives us, the bride, the church a different heart,
Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Samuel 10: 12 - 16 Then a man from there answered and said, “But who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb: “Is Saul also among the prophets?”
And when he had finished prophesying, he went to the high place.
Then Saul’s uncle said to him and his servant, “Where did you go?”
So he said, “To look for the donkeys. When we saw that they were nowhere to be found, we went to Samuel.”
And Saul’s uncle said, “Tell me, please, what Samuel said to you.”
So Saul said to his uncle, “He told us plainly that the donkeys had been found.” But about the matter of the kingdom, he did not tell him what Samuel had said.
In the above-mentioned verses, the people who heard Saul prophesying, because they said that is Saul one among the Prophets, therefore it became a proverb: “Is Saul also among the prophets?” Then he went to the high place. Then Saul’s uncle said to him and his servant, “Where did you go?” So he said, “To look for the donkeys. When we saw that they were nowhere to be found, we went to Samuel.” And Saul’s uncle said, “Tell me, please, what Samuel said to you.” So Saul said to his uncle, “He told us plainly that the donkeys had been found.” But about the matter of the kingdom, he did not tell him what Samuel had said.
Then Samuel called the people together to the Lord at Mizpah 1 Samuel 10: 18, 19 and said to the children of Israel, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt and delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all kingdoms and from those who oppressed you.’
But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said to Him, ‘No, set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the Israelites though the Lord delivered them from many troubles and saved them they did not realize that and they rejected and pushed God away and because they asked that they wanted a king for themselves, so Samuel asked them to present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans. After making them stand in that manner, the tribe of Benjamin was chosen by lot
Then, in 1 Samuel 10: 22 Therefore they inquired of the Lord further, “Has the man come here yet?” And the Lord answered, “There he is, hidden among the equipment.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Saul the son of Kish was chosen. But when they sought him, he could not be found. Therefore they inquired of the Lord further, “Has the man come here yet?” And the Lord answered, “There he is, hidden among the equipment.”
My dear people, in this manner only many among us are called by the Lord, chosen and anointed by his anointing and when he is waiting to take them, we do not draw near to him and we reject his anointing of the king and according to our desires we do and according to what our mind desires we walk and hide ourselves. But he who has the will to call us however we may hide ourselves without him seeing he finds us and makes us stand near him and there is no doubt in that. Therefore, my dear people today itself let us submit ourselves completely unto him.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
