“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 132: 14
“This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should dwell in the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should have prophecy and regarding this we meditated with patterns for Jesus Christ.
Next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 9: 21 - 27 And Saul answered and said, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?”
Now Samuel took Saul and his servant and brought them into the hall, and had them sit in the place of honour among those who were invited; there were about thirty persons.
And Samuel said to the cook, “Bring the portion which I gave you, of which I said to you, ‘Set it apart.’”
So the cook took up the thigh with its upper part and set it before Saul. And Samuel said, “Here it is, what was kept back. It was set apart for you. Eat; for until this time it has been kept for you, since I said I invited the people.” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.
When they had come down from the high place into the city, Samuel spoke with Saul on the top of the house.
They arose early; and it was about the dawning of the day that Samuel called to Saul on the top of the house, saying, “Get up, that I may send you on your way.” And Saul arose, and both of them went outside, he and Samuel.
As they were going down to the outskirts of the city, Samuel said to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on ahead of us.” And he went on. “But you stand here awhile, that I may announce to you the word of God.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, Samuel took Saul and his servant and brought them into the hall and had them sit in the place of honour among those who were invited; there were about thirty persons. And Samuel said to the cook, “Bring the portion which I gave you, of which I said to you, ‘Set it apart.’” So the cook took up the thigh with its upper part and set it before Saul. My dear people, here when we meditate about this God is using Samuel to make Saul as the king and to give him the first place he preparing the thigh with its upper part in the feast for him. We see that they are eating in this manner in the feast. Also, he is taking him to the top of the house and is telling him to be prepared, that top of the house is a pattern of the church of Christ and also if we abide with Christ then God will speak regarding what he is going to do in our life and we can understand that. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to receive a good portion from the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
