“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Corinthians 14: 1

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Our soul, the bride, the church should have prophecy.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should be the table where Christ dines.

Today what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 9: 14 – 20 So they went up to the city. As they were coming into the city, there was Samuel, coming out toward them on his way up to the high place.

Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear the day before Saul came, saying,

“Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him commander over My people Israel, that he may save My people from the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to Me.”

So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, “There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.”

Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, “Please tell me, where is the seer’s house?”

Samuel answered Saul and said, “I am the seer. Go up before me to the high place, for you shall eat with me today; and tomorrow I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart.

But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father’s house?”

When we meditate about what is mentioned above, one day before Saul who went to look for his father’s donkeys that were lost came God told Samuel regarding the thing about Saul. So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, “There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.” Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, “Please tell me, where is the seer’s house?” Samuel answered Saul and said, “I am the seer. Go up before me to the high place, for you shall eat with me today; and tomorrow I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart.

But in 1 Samuel 9: 20 But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father’s house?”

When God told the above-mentioned words through Samuel to Saul, then Saul replied in 1 Samuel 9: 21 And Saul answered and said, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?”

In the above-mentioned words we see that he is humbling himself. Also, my dear people using the prophet God is going to make Saul as a king and regarding this he is speaking. That is, Christ as a prophet is revealed within us and through the words of God he speaks to us and he as the king will be seated be seated in the throne of God on the right hand of God and he blesses us also with the anointing of the king and along with him, in the throne he gives us the privilege to sit on the right hand and the pattern regarding this is being given here. Therefore, my dear people if we dine with him only by his word, he will speak to us. In this manner let us submit ourselves to the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
