8. In everything give thanks -

My dearly beloved, we must realize that giving thanks to God is an important law that God expects from each and everyone of us. In the Bible we see our old fathers praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ in this manner. When we read those portions our soul also rejoices. When all of us, in every situation give God praise, thanks and rejoice saying Hallelujah, its not us but God is glorified through Christ in us. Therefore we are always indebted to glorify God.

Psalms 50:23 says - Whoever offers praise glorifies Me;And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”

Psalms 50 :14 says - Offer to God thanksgiving, pay your vows to the Most High.

Psalms 50 :15 - Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

But in our days of temptation or when we are in trouble, we will be depressed and sad. That is not what the word of God says. In any day of trouble, if we will firstly give praise to God, he will hear our prayer immediately and give us a good answer. Once we get the answer we praise God again. So we must think one thing, if we are having a problem, it’s a chance for God to be glorified.

Lazarus died in Bethany. But Jesus Christ came there late. Jesus only said roll the stone away.

John 11:41 says - Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

In this place, our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us how we have to praise God.

John 12:13 - took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna!‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’The King of Israel!”

Psalms 147:12 - Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!

Romans 8:28 says - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Revelation 19:1 - After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!

Revelation 19:3 - Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!”

Revelation 19:4,5,6 - And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!”

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”

And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

Psalms 145:17-21 says - The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;He also will hear their cry and save them.

The Lord preserves all who love Him,But all the wicked He will destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh shall bless His holy name. Forever and ever.

My dearly beloved, in Hebrews 13:14,15 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

2 Corinthians 4: 13-15 - And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.

For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Therefore, my dearly beloved, for our whole spirit, soul and body to be preserved blameless and sanctified in our Lord Jesus Christ we must give thanks always and in every circumstance. Then God's glory will manifest in us and grace will abound in us so that we are useful to others. Let us pray. May God bless you all.
