“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Nahum 2: 1
He who scatters has come up before your face. Man the fort! Watch the road! Strengthen your flanks! Fortify your power mightily.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should be careful so that it is not scattered.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our king, the bride, the church’s is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 9: 1 – 4 There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power.
And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person than he among the children of Israel. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people.
Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to his son Saul, “Please take one of the servants with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys.”
So he passed through the mountains of Ephraim and through the land of Shalisha, but they did not find them. Then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and they were not there. Then he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they did not find them.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, when the Israelites requested that they wanted a king to judge them and go before them to fight the wars, when the Lord told them through Samuel that this thing is not necessary, they did not have the mind to listen and because they requested for a king again there was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish, a mighty man of power. His father was the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror. And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person than he among the children of Israel. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people. Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to his son Saul, “Please take one of the servants with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys.” So he passed through the mountains of Ephraim and through the land of Shalisha, but they did not find them. Then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and they were not there. Then he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they did not find them. When they had come to the land of Zuph 1 Samuel 9: 5 When they had come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant who was with him, “Come, let us return, lest my father cease caring about the donkeys and become worried about us.”
Then that servant in 1 Samuel 9: 6 And he said to him, “Look now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass. So let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way that we should go.”
Then Saul, in 1 Samuel 9: 7 Then Saul said to his servant, “But look, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread in our vessels is all gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”
Then that servant in 1 Samuel 9: 8 And the servant answered Saul again and said, “Look, I have here at hand one-fourth of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, in the times before if anyone go to enquire of the Lord if they say that we will go to a man who is honourable, it means it is a prophet. But for what the servant said, Saul is telling his servant that you have said a good thing and said let us go, you come and in this way they went to the city that the man of God was there.
My dear people, the explanation of the things mentioned above is that God is going to anoint Saul as the king and how they must stand in the gap for the souls and this he is showing us along with a pattern and explaining it to us. My dear people, when we meditate upon what is mentioned above, we see how God anointed Saul as the king and those who are anointed as the king how they should safeguard their soul from being scattered and also our soul which has already been scattered we must search and find out where it is lying and due to the many thoughts of the Gentiles if our souls have been scattered we must find it and bring it and this is the will of God. Therefore, according to the will of God we must safeguard our soul from being scattered. Let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
