“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 96: 10

Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, it shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Our king, the bride, the church’s is the Lord Jesus Christ.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church will be led into judgement by the Lord.

Next, what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 8: 1 – 6 Now it came to pass when Samuel was old that he made his sons judges over Israel.

The name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of his second, Abijah; they were judges in Beersheba.

But his sons did not walk in his ways; they turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice.

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah,

and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.”

But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord.

In the above-mentioned words, when Samuel was old he made his sons judges over Israel. The name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of the younger was Abijah; they were judges in Beersheba. But his sons did not walk in his ways; they turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice. Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord.

Then the Lord said to Samuel in 1 Samuel 8: 7 – 9 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.

According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also.

Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behaviour of the king who will reign over them.”

According to the above-mentioned words, he said that the things will be in this manner and let them know this as a pattern. In the same way, Samuel lets them know the words of the Lord in 1 Samuel 8: 11 – 18 And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots.

He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots.

He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers.

And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants.

He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants.

And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work.

He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants.

And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”

The sons of Israel who heard the above-mentioned words, did not have the mind to listen to the words of Samuel said that “No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord. Then the Lord, in 1 Samuel 8: 22 So the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed their voice, and make them a king.” And Samuel said to the men of Israel, “Every man go to his city.”

In the above-mentioned words, God is sending everyone to their own city.

My dear people, when we think from the beginning regarding the facts about this it is the tribulation that is there in our mind. This tribulation is that though we have known the love of God, in many places even though God at the right time has delivered and saved us our soul makes us forget them and makes us think unnecessary things. That is, we do not walk according to the laws of the Lord and we forget the Lord who has saved us. Not only that, God fights for us and even though we know that he judges us, we do not walk in his path and whenever circumstances come, we do not search God but we ask the guidance of men and follow them and like the Gentiles we are bold to walk like them. My dear people, among those who are in this manner the altar of the Lord will not be there, also we cannot be his house also and he is showing this and sending them to each one of their cities means in Canaan (in Christ) they have no part and he is telling us this by showing us. Therefore my dear people who are reading this, let us not spoil ourselves in this manner let us hope only in the Lord and he is our king, and he will fight for us against the enemies and make us enter into Canaan and will change us into his house and with that hope let us turn only to him and submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
