“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah 

We, the bride, the church should never walk in a double path and should safeguard our soul so that it is not spoiled.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our heart, the bride, the church should be as those circumcised.

Next, what we meditated is that 1 Samuel 6: 15 – 21 The Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the chest that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone. Then the men of Beth Shemesh offered burnt offerings and made sacrifices the same day to the Lord. 

So when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same day.

These are the golden tumors which the Philistines returned as a trespass offering to the Lord: one for Ashdod, one for Gaza, one for Ashkelon, one for Gath, one for Ekron; 

and the golden rats, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both fortified cities and country villages, even as far as the large stone of Abel on which they set the ark of the Lord, which stone remains to this day in the field of Joshua of Beth Shemesh.

Then He struck the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck fifty thousand and seventy men of the people, and the people lamented because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.

And the men of Beth Shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? And to whom shall it go up from us?” 

So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath Jearim, saying, “The Philistines have brought back the ark of the Lord; come down and take it up with you.”

In the above-mentioned words, in the cart that the Philistines brought offering to the Lord they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord shows that they knew that only the Lord is God and they opened their souls completely for the Lord and gave him and God is showing this as a pattern regarding how we should submit ourselves to him.

Also, the Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the chest that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone. Then the men of Beth Shemesh offered burnt offerings and made sacrifices the same day to the Lord. So when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same day. The explanations regarding this is that the five lords of the Philistines, do not allow us to unite with God but keep us under the bondage of worldly desires and lusts and these are the spirits of the giants. God does not allow and stops them so that their deeds do not take place and bring the people under his control and because of this the giants could not stand and come and went back to their own place and this is the fact about this. In this manner, our heart should leave the foreign gods and God is giving us his grace for that.

Therefore, my dear people the word of God means it is very holy. That holy word is God. To that our God, there is no place for any idol that is foreign gods. Not only that by serving God, and by serving Baal we cannot be with a double mind. If we will do such kind of double deeds we are hopping hopping and walking and we must know that. Not only that, if we will walk in a double way, we will be unstable and will fall down and there is no doubt in that. Also, the anger of the Lord will burn upon us. Therefore, without holiness no one can see God and we must realize that and now itself let us fall in the hands of God. Let us submit ourselves.
