“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Proverbs 29: 17
Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church and our families should not leave and make mistakes and walk in the way of the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church to remove our worries we must break and pour our soul in the presence of the Lord.
Next what we are meditating is that 1 Samuel 2: 22 – 24 Now Eli was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
So he said to them, “Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all the people.
No, my sons! For it is not a good report that I hear. You make the Lord’s people transgress.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Eli, the priest was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. So he said to them, “Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all the people. No, my sons! For it is not a good report that I hear. You make the Lord’s people transgress.
Also in 1 Samuel 2: 25 If one man sins against another, God will judge him. But if a man sins against the Lord, who will intercede for him?” Nevertheless they did not heed the voice of their father, because the Lord desired to kill them.
But the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favor both with the Lord and men. Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Did I not clearly reveal Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? Did I not choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer upon My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod before Me? And did I not give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire.
But in 1 Samuel 2: 29 Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?’
According to the above-mentioned words because it is happening in 1 Samuel 2: 30 Therefore the Lord God of Israel says: ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, though God has given us good blessings if our walk or our children’s walks are evil God will cause the above-mentioned evil to come and occur upon us.
Therefore my dear people, not only our sin but our children if we do not punish them properly and bring them up God’s anger will descend upon us. But to the sons of Eli he is telling them their mistakes. But the children did not obey them. Therefore for the whole family, God is cursing them. In the same way, we also, our sons and daughters if they do not obey, we are pushing them away carelessly. They are not obeying what can we do now, thinking this we push it away. If we do in this manner, God will never accept this reason from us. Also, God gave us his word so he will take care of it – we cannot say this reason also. That is why we see that God is telling I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.
Therefore, we and our children should not leave and make mistakes in the way of the Lord and let us submit ourselves to walk in his way. He will bless us.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
