“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Hosea 2: 19, 20 “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy;
I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
The preparation of we, the bride, the church for eternal marriage – as a pattern.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that only if we, the bride, the church keep God as our refuge in every situation then he will never forsake us.
Also, next what we will be meditating is that Ruth 3: 12 – 18 Now it is true that I am a close relative; however, there is a relative closer than I.
Stay this night, and in the morning it shall be that if he will perform the duty of a close relative for you—good; let him do it. But if he does not want to perform the duty for you, then I will perform the duty for you, as the Lord lives! Lie down until morning.”
So she lay at his feet until morning, and she arose before one could recognize another. Then he said, “Do not let it be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.”
Also he said, “Bring the shawl that is on you and hold it.” And when she held it, he measured six ephahs of barley, and laid it on her. Then she went into the city.
When she came to her mother-in-law, she said, “Is that you, my daughter?” Then she told her all that the man had done for her.
And she said, “These six ephahs of barley he gave me; for he said to me, ‘Do not go empty-handed to your mother-in-law.’”
Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, when Ruth tells Boaz that you are a close relative he says that it is true that I am a close relative; however, there is a relative closer than I. Stay this night, and in the morning it shall be that if he will perform the duty of a close relative for you—good; let him do it. But if he does not want to perform the duty for you, then I will perform the duty for you, as the Lord lives! Lie down until morning.”
My dear people, God is telling these words and is showing this as a pattern to eternal marriage. That is, our Lord Jesus Christ is calling us for eternal marriage and then later he is choosing and taking us and after that he is letting us know that we must be truthful. Regarding this, Isaiah 62: 1 – 5 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will name.
You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.
For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses God is explaining regarding the fact about bridegroom and bride. Till our Father God makes his son Christ to shine in our midst he says that he will not rest. Christ, who shines in this manner is as the bridegroom and the Holy Spirit descends in us and changes us into the bride, the church. Regarding this the verse as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
Also in John 5: 19 – 23 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
In this manner when our Lord Jesus Christ had said so for this as a pattern Boaz and Ruth, the soul of Naomi who backslid and went to Moab and came back God is showing us regarding how we should safeguard our soul within us and how we must have a relationship with him and that is being said here. Not only that Ruth 3: 14 – 18 So she lay at his feet until morning, and she arose before one could recognize another.
And she said, “These six ephahs of barley he gave me; for he said to me, ‘Do not go empty-handed to your mother-in-law.’ ”
Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”
When we see regarding this, how we should live with grace and according to the growth of our spirit he is blessing us with heavenly blessings and that is being manifested here. Also, we must sit at his feet and till he blesses us, we must wait in holiness and patience for our promises to be fulfilled. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to Christ.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
