“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Timothy 1:16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

We, the bride, the church should receive mercy from God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that if we, the bride, the church do things which do not please God then God will make our life bitter. Also, when Naomi came along with Ruth from Moab again to Bethlehem, we meditated that it was at the beginning of barley harvest.

Next, what we are meditating is that Ruth 2: 1, 2 There was a relative of Naomi’s husband, a man of great wealth, of the family of Elimelech. His name was Boaz. 

So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

In the above-mentioned verses, there was a relative of Naomi’s husband, a man of great wealth, of the family of Elimelech. His name was Boaz. So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favour.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

What these things is that below the bride, the church to do the work of the Lord, Ruth the Moabitess is making a decision and God is showing us this as a pattern. Among us also if any one has lost the blessing that God had given and are desolate, we must repent again, attain realization and in God should take a decision according to God’s will and this is a chance for that, and we must think about it. In this manner, Ruth asked the permission of Naomi and in Ruth 2: 3 – 9 Then she left and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.

Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you!” And they answered him, “The Lord bless you!”

Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?”

So the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, “It is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. 

And she said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came and has continued from morning until now, though she rested a little in the house.”

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “You will listen, my daughter, will you not? Do not go to glean in another field, nor go from here, but stay close by my young women. 

Let your eyes be on the field which they reap, and go after them. Have I not commanded the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn.”

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of God, Ruth is gleaning in the field of Boaz. Then Boaz went to his land, the field, and said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you!” And they answered him, “The Lord bless you!” Then when Boaz saw Ruth he said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?” So the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, “It is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. My dear people, the land of Boaz is being shown as a pattern to the church of God. The soul of Ruth, Naomi, the bride, the church is being revived by salvation and when they come and reach the church of God, because there it was during the time of the harvest of the souls, Boaz is seeing that soul (Ruth). To the servant who was kept in charge of his field, he asks and knows about her and because she was truthful he is telling her to be in the same place along with the women who were servants of God. Also, he is telling her not to leave the teaching of the church of God and go to other wrong teachings and is showing this as a pattern and is telling her not to go to other fields and not to go from here and to do the ministry of the church of God he is telling her to be there and we see that he has commanded that no one should touch her. Also, if she gets thirsty go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn means shows the harvest of the soul.

Therefore, my dear people let us also submit ourselves in this manner to receive the mercy from God.
