“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Colossians 3: 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
In our soul, the bride, the church we must work things which are according to peace by Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our life, the bride, the church the Lord is our shepherd. That is, in the midst of the children of Israel our Lord Jesus Christ is manifesting as the shepherd.
Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 20: 12- 16 Then the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, “What is this wickedness that has occurred among you?
Now therefore, deliver up the men, the perverted men who are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and remove the evil from Israel!” But the children of Benjamin would not listen to the voice of their brethren, the children of Israel.
Instead, the children of Benjamin gathered together from their cities to Gibeah, to go to battle against the children of Israel.
And from their cities at that time the children of Benjamin numbered twenty-six thousand men who drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gibeah, who numbered seven hundred select men.
Among all this people were seven hundred select men who were left-handed; every one could sling a stone at a hair’s breadth and not miss.
So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, united together as one man. Then the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, “What is this wickedness that has occurred among you? Now therefore, deliver up the men, the perverted men who are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and remove the evil from Israel!” But the children of Benjamin would not listen to the voice of their brethren, the children of Israel. Instead, the children of Benjamin gathered together from their cities to Gibeah, to go to battle against the children of Israel.
When we meditate upon this, in the midst of the children of Israel only war will take place and for this God is showing this as a pattern. This is because God is telling that our heart is a battle ground. That is, deeds of the flesh will fight against each other one by one. Then flesh will fight against the Spirit and the Spirit will fight against the flesh. Knowing this fact, as a pattern what he is explaining is that from their cities at that time the children of Benjamin numbered twenty-six thousand men who drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gibeah, who numbered seven hundred select men. Among all this people were seven hundred select men who were left-handed; every one could sling a stone at a hair’s breadth and not miss. Now the men of Israel numbered four hundred thousand men who drew the sword;
Then the children of Israel, in Judges 20: 18 – 21 Then the children of Israel arose and went up to the house of God to inquire of God. They said, “Which of us shall go up first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” The Lord said, “Judah first!”
So the children of Israel rose in the morning and encamped against Gibeah.
And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin, and the men of Israel put themselves in battle array to fight against them at Gibeah.
Then the children of Benjamin came out of Gibeah, and on that day cut down to the ground twenty-two thousand men of the Israelites.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, in the fight that happened in the first time the children of Benjamin won. That is, the children of Benjamin came out of Gibeah and on that day cut down to the ground twenty-two thousand men of the Israelites.
My dear people, the facts regarding this is that among the Israelites among each tribe he is destroying their thoughts of the flesh and it is being manifested. In this manner, when we meditate upon this, in our life if there are deeds which are against peace, God will fight for us and will work things which are for God’s peace. In this manner, let us also submit ourselves to Christ to work things which are for deeds of peace.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
