“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Romans 8: 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

In our soul, the bride, the church the removal of the thoughts of flesh – as a pattern.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in the journey of our faith, the bride, the church if we will back slide then we must be renewed again by the word of God, wash our feet, eat bread and we will be in happiness and worship the Lord.

Next, what we will be meditating is that in Judges 19: 22 As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, “Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”

What the above-mentioned verses is that when we wash our feet, eat bread and when we are worshipping the Lord in happiness, the children of Belial will enter into that house and make our soul to roam about in the open square. But that inner man is safeguarded so that he will not spoil.

Therefore, in Judges 19: 23 But the man, the master of the house, went out to them and said to them, “No, my brethren! I beg you, do not act so wickedly! Seeing this man has come into my house, do not commit this outrage.

Do not do such a vile thing to the Benjaminite’s. Look, here is my virgin daughter and the man’s concubine; let me bring them out now. Humble them and do with them as you please; but to this man do not do such a vile thing!

These are thoughts according to the spirit. Those according to the flesh are being pushed outside. What this signifies is that concubine means he is referring it to the deeds of the flesh. That is, that man took his concubine and brought her out to them. And they knew her and abused her all night until morning; and when the day began to break, they let her go. Then the woman came as the day was dawning and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her master was, till it was light. When her master arose in the morning, and opened the doors of the house and went out to go his way, there was his concubine, fallen at the door of the house with her hands on the threshold. 

When we meditate upon the facts of the above-mentioned verses to remove the flesh out of the Israelites God is showing this as a pattern and we can understand this. Therefore, my dear people in our inner man to remove the evil deeds, which are the thoughts of the flesh let us submit ourselves.
