“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Hebrews 10: 38, 39 Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him.
But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should not backslide and should safeguard themselves carefully.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that God will always gather us, the bride, the church towards him.
Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 19: 5 – 8 Then it came to pass on the fourth day that they arose early in the morning, and he stood to depart; but the young woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Refresh your heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.”
So they sat down, and the two of them ate and drank together. Then the young woman’s father said to the man, “Please be content to stay all night, and let your heart be merry.”
And when the man stood to depart, his father-in-law urged him; so he lodged there again.
Then he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart, but the young woman’s father said, “Please refresh your heart.” So they delayed until afternoon; and both of them ate.
That Levite, who stayed as a stranger stayed at his father in law’s house for three days and after he had ate, drank and lodged there on the fourth day he arose early in the morning, and he stood to depart; but the young woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Refresh your heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.” So they sat down, and the two of them ate and drank together. Then the young woman’s father said to the man, “Please be content to stay all night, and let your heart be merry.” And when the man stood to depart, his father-in-law urged him; so he lodged there again. Then he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart, but the young woman’s father said, “Please refresh your heart.” So they delayed until afternoon; and both of them ate.
Then in Judges 19: 9 And when the man stood to depart—he and his concubine and his servant—his father-in-law, the young woman’s father, said to him, “Look, the day is now drawing toward evening; please spend the night. See, the day is coming to an end; lodge here, that your heart may be merry. Tomorrow go your way early, so that you may get home.”
In the above-mentioned verses, according to what is written that man did not want to stay till night and he saddled the donkeys and his concubine was also with him and came opposite Jebus (that is, Jerusalem). In this manner, when he came opposite Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said to his master, “Come, please, and let us turn aside into this city of the Jebusites and lodge in it.” But his master said to him, “We will not turn aside here into a city of foreigners, who are not of the children of Israel; we will go on to Gibeah.” So he said to his servant, “Come, let us draw near to one of these places, and spend the night in Gibeah or in Ramah.” And they passed by and went their way; and the sun went down on them near Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin.
The above-mentioned facts is that our soul is stuck with sin, infatuation traditions and God is explaining with a pattern regarding the experience of backsliding. That is, when we say concubine, it is our soul which is with the deeds of the flesh is taking us to the place that we left and came means that we are going towards the traditional church. Those who are going in this way, it is pulling them and keeping them and makes them spend the night and is making them eat the food from there and we can meditate that. When we meditate regarding this, many servants of God after they have been saved due to many reasons think according to their heart and without any realization of the truth they change them and become far away from the truth and are pushed into the situation that they followed traditionally and they are wasting the gifts that they have received.
Regarding that in Isaiah 1: 21, 22 How the faithful city has become a harlot! It was full of justice; Righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers.
Your silver has become dross, Your wine mixed with water.
But what they are saying is that we went to tell the people there regarding salvation and they go for their things and many people are there like thus. Whatever it maybe they will lose their gifts. But my dear people who are reading this, keep everything according to the facts and we must come forward to walk in wisdom. Otherwise just like that man, concubine and servants slipped we will think in our soul that we can go to other tribes in the city of the Jebusites. However their journey may come to Gibeah, the sun went down on them.
Therefore my dear people we must not walk in darkness but let us submit ourselves to walk in the light.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
