“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Jeremiah 7: 23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church should be careful so that we do not do idol worship.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should gather as a church and worship God.

When we gather together as a church and worship God being filled with the Holy Spirit, then God unties the bonds of the enemy that are there against our soul. In this manner, he breaks the bonds, and the Spirit of God dwells in us, and he makes us live with Christ and this is what it means by possessing the land. That land is the heavenly land, which is the land of Canaan. In the path that leads to it is where Kirjath Jearim is situated. It is there that they encamped. Encamping means the church of God gathering together and worshipping. While worshipping in this manner, the God of glory is being manifested. In this manner, while being manifested we are entering into eternal life. To receive these and to show as a pattern only the sons, the six hundred men and the five men who had gone to spy out the country of Laish came to the mountains of Ephraim, and came to the house of Micah. Then the five men who had gone to spy out the country of Laish answered and said to their brethren, “Do you know that there are in these houses an ephod, household idols, a carved image, and a molded image? Now therefore, consider what you should do.”

So they turned aside there and came to the house of the young Levite man—to the house of Micah—and greeted him. The six hundred men armed with their weapons of war, who were of the children of Dan, stood by the entrance of the gate. In this manner, when the priests and the six hundred men armed with their weapons of war stood at the entrance of the gate, the five men went into the house and took the carved image, the ephod, the household idols, and the moulded image. When they were taking in this manner and coming, the priest is asking them what you are doing.

Then they are telling the priest in Judges 18: 19, 20 And they said to him, “Be quiet, put your hand over your mouth, and come with us; be a father and a priest to us. Is it better for you to be a priest to the household of one man, or that you be a priest to a tribe and a family in Israel?”

So the priest’s heart was glad; and he took the ephod, the household idols, and the carved image, and took his place among the people.

In the above-mentioned, the heart of the priest who heard what they said was glad and he took the ephod, the household idols, and the carved image, and took his place among the people. Then they turned and departed, and put the little ones, the livestock, and the goods in front of them.

My dear people, among the Israelites many did idol worship, and we can understand this. Idol worship is an abomination to the Lord. Also, flee from idolatry says the Lord.

Also, in Exodus 20: 3 – 5 You shall have no other gods before Me.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

In this manner, when the laws of the Lord are there the children of Israel are following the idols. God is showing as a pattern regarding this that many among us are also walking in this manner and because they are doing things which are not pleasing God so God’s anger is burning. But because their spiritual eyes are not opened, without their knowledge itself they are doing this. This is because there is no Spirit of God within them. Therefore regarding them, what God is telling is that all the Israelites are not Israelites. Regarding them, what God is telling is that Jeremiah 6: 8 – 15 Be instructed, O Jerusalem, Lest My soul depart from you; Lest I make you desolate, a land not inhabited.”

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “They shall thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel; as a grape-gatherer, put your hand back into the branches.”

To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Indeed their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot give heed. Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it.

Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord. I am weary of holding it in. “I will pour it out on the children outside, and on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with him who is full of days.

And their houses shall be turned over to others, fields and wives together; For I will stretch out My hand against the inhabitants of the land,” says the Lord.

“Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely.

They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When there is no peace.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time I punish them, they shall be cast down,” says the Lord.

The above-mentioned verses due to the abominations that we do against God so God is saying in this manner. But he is removing all the abominations from us and as our saviour the Lord is manifesting within us. My dear people, we must never be under the bondage of idols and let us submit ourselves to safeguard ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
