“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Genesis 17: 8 Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should attain the eternal inheritance.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in us, the bride, the church our Lord Jesus Christ is the priest who does not change forever.
Next, what we will meditate is that Judges 18: 1 – 4 In those days there was no king in Israel. And in those days the tribe of the Danites was seeking an inheritance for itself to dwell in; for until that day their inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them.
So the children of Dan sent five men of their family from their territory, men of valor from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and search it. They said to them, “Go, search the land.” So they went to the mountains of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.
While they were at the house of Micah, they recognized the voice of the young Levite. They turned aside and said to him, “Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? What do you have here?”
He said to them, “Thus and so Micah did for me. He has hired me, and I have become his priest.”

Then they in Judges 18: 5, 6 So they said to him, “Please inquire of God, that we may know whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous.”
And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The presence of the Lord be with you on your way.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, what we come to know is that as the tribe of Dan did not get an inheritance to dwell in, they did not have a king or a priest. So they are asking the priest that is dwelling in the house of Micah whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous. The reason for this is that it is a pattern of the journey of faith. Then the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The presence of the Lord be with you on your way.” He believed completely what that priest told them.
Also, my dear people if our journey has to be prosperous, then by he who died for us and then resurrected on the third day, by the blood of Christ our soul should be removed of worldly worries and cleansed, and after that when it makes peace for us, then our journey of faith will be prosperous. Christ, as our priest we will be able to receive the eternal inheritance. But the idols and carved images which were there in the house of Micah will raise a doubt surely in the minds of everyone. Therefore, we must not worry about it and we will meditate regarding this tomorrow.
My dear people, all these things are as a pattern to us. To show us how we must unite with Christ, God is showing the Israelites as a pattern. The sons of Dan are calling the priest and using him for their inheritance. We must submit ourselves to always keep our Christ as our eternal inheritance in our soul, our house.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
