“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 37: 14 The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who are of upright conduct.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should be careful that we do not fall by the lusts of the eyes and should not build the altar for Dagon.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should be careful that they do not fall down when vexed by the harlot.
Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 16: 20 – 25 And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” So he awoke from his sleep, and said, “I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him.
Then the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison.
However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven.
Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands
When the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy, The destroyer of our land, and the one who multiplied our dead.”
So it happened, when their hearts were merry, that they said, “Call for Samson, that he may perform for us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, Samson is being vexed by Delilah the harlot, regarding where the strength that he has is and because he revealed everything that is in his heart to her so he makes them shave off seven locks of his head and when she began to torment him, Samson who did not know that God had departed from him, when he woke up from his sleep, when she said “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” even though he said I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free, the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison. However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven.
Then the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands Samson our enemy!” When the people saw that such a thing has happened to Samson, they praised their god; for they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy, the destroyer of our land, and the one who multiplied our dead.” When their hearts were merry in this manner they said, “Call for Samson, that he may perform for us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars.
Then what Samson did is that Judges 16: 26 – 30 Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them.”
Now the temple was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there—about three thousand men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed.
Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”
And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left.
Then Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, to see Samson the lords of the Philistines were there—about three thousand men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed. Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them.” Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!” and in Judges 16: 31 And his brothers and all his father’s household came down and took him and brought him up and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of his father Manoah. He had judged Israel twenty years.
When we meditate upon these verses, Samson killed more at his death than he had killed in his life.
My dear people, when we meditate upon these words though Samson killed more people at his death than he killed in his life it is certain that he truly fell down. This is because our Lord Jesus Christ before he arose as the Nazarite, by God from his birth from his mother’s womb he made him a Nazarene. But he was not able to stand because there was sin dwelling within him. This is because he was made from the earth and his likeness was like that of the earth so from him the lusts of the eyes are revealed. In this manner many people anointed by God are falling down. This is because the harlot, is deceiving the mind of the people. This is what happened in the Garden of Eden also. This is because, if we deceive those who are created in the image of God they will become outside the garden. Also, they will lose their garment and become naked. One of the reasons for this is the lust of the eyes.
Also, due to this, seven locks of hair from the head is being shaved. For what God is showing these as a pattern is that, seven kinds of anointing, if the lusts of the eyes will come within us, the strength of our soul through the anointing will be destroyed. If it is destroyed in this manner and in our life if we will get into the lusts of our eyes our spiritual eyes will be plucked. Then we will become blind. Then we will be bound with fetters and will be taken for punishment. What that punishment signifies is our spiritual downfall, the crowds of Philistines will dwell within us. Then we will be grinder of flour means that we will hear the verses, but we will not know what it is. There is no bread within us. Our enemies will see us and be merry and there will be an altar and offering of sacrifice for Dagon within us. Also, we will be performing for our enemy. But that house will be the dwelling place of the Philistines.
Then when we look to God and call upon him, there the God who takes revenge when he makes that house completely fall down our soul will also fall down together and will die. Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ as a Nazarite, as a person without any lusts destroys the enemies and he manifests as one who overcame, as one who overcomes and one who will overcome. But for all these things, he died once and he was revived by the Spirit of the Father. But now he overcomes the enemies and without dying he is the one who lives forever. Let us submit ourselves to live along with him alive forever.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
