“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 25: 20 Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should be careful that they do not fall down when vexed by the harlot.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not get stuck with the spirit of harlotry and we must safeguard ourselves.
Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 16: 16 And it came to pass, when she pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death.
In the above-mentioned verses when we meditate upon this Delilah was pestering Samson daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death, that he told her all his heart. Judges 16: 17 that he told her all his heart, and said to her, “No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.”
In this manner, when he told the place where his strength is, Delilah in Judges 16: 18 When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up once more, for he has told me all his heart.” So the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hand.
In this manner, she is sending people to the Philistines and is telling them. Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her with silver money in their hands. What she is doing to him is that Judges 16: 19, 20 Then she lulled him to sleep on her knees and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him.
And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” So he awoke from his sleep, and said, “I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him.
In the above-mentioned verses, what is written is that when she said, The Philistines are upon you. So he awoke from his sleep, and said, I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free! The reason why she said in this manner is because when he was sleeping on her knees she called for a man and shaved off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. Therefore he is saying in this manner.
My dear people, the spirits of the Philistines, the spirit of harlotry how it binds our soul God is showing us as a pattern using Samson. That is, even though we are Israelites the deeds of our hands should be pure. The reason is that we are formed from this world. But God has come from heaven, and we must know that. Our God, according to the purity of our hands will do according to our deeds. The harlot always to deceive us will be searching for opportunities. But we, ourselves must be careful. If we will give place to her, little by little she will swallow us alive. If we get stuck in this manner in her net, God without our knowledge itself will leave from us.
Therefore, my dear people so that we do not stuck with the spirit of harlotry we must safeguard our soul. Let us submit ourselves to God to safeguard ourselves in this manner.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
