“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 94: 23 He has brought on them their own iniquity and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The Lord our God shall cut them off.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Till we destroy the deeds of the Philistines in our soul, the bride, the church God will perform his work in us.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should separate and save ourselves so that we do not get stuck in the deeds of the Philistines.

Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 15: 1 – 5 After a while, in the time of wheat harvest, it happened that Samson visited his wife with a young goat. And he said, “Let me go in to my wife, into her room.” But her father would not permit him to go in.

Her father said, “I really thought that you thoroughly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead.”

And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!”

Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned the foxes tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails.

When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Samson’s wife was given to his companion, who had been his best man. After a while, in the time of wheat harvest, it happened that Samson visited his wife with a young goat. And he said, “Let me go in to my wife, into her room.” But her father would not permit him to go in. Her father said, “I really thought that you thoroughly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead.” And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!” Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned the foxes tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails. When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

Then when the Philistines asked who had done this, Judges 15: 6 Then the Philistines said, “Who has done this?” And they answered, “Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion.” So the Philistines came up and burned her and her father with fire.

The fact regarding these verses is that the person who has done this is Samson only and when the Philistines came to know why he had done this they burned her and her father with fire. Samson said to them, “Since you would do a thing like this, I will surely take revenge on you, and after that I will cease.” So he attacked them with a great slaughter; then he went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Etam.

My dear people, when we meditate upon these verses God is creating a circumstance to destroy the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves and all these of the Philistines and we can know this. Also, he is disturbing the unity among the Philistines. Not only that, so that our soul does not change to become the worship place of the Philistines he is creating many circumstances and is showing this as a pattern for us. That is, we see that those Philistines are burning Samson’s wife and father by fire.

My dear people, till we remove the deeds of the Philistines from us God’s work will be going on. Therefore, let us move away from the deeds of the Philistines and let us dwell with Christ, he will save us. Let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
