“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 76: 10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church should separate and save ourselves from the deeds of the Philistines.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church we must be delivered from the deeds of the Philistines, the lusts and we must be saved.

Next, what we are meditating upon is Judges 14: 12 – 20 Then Samson said to them, “Let me pose a riddle to you. If you can correctly solve and explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.

But if you cannot explain it to me, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” And they said to him, “Pose your riddle, that we may hear it.”

So he said to them: “Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.

But it came to pass on the seventh day that they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may explain the riddle to us, or else we will burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you invited us in order to take what is ours? Is that not so?”

Then Samson’s wife wept on him, and said, “You only hate me! You do not love me! You have posed a riddle to the sons of my people, but you have not explained it to me.” And he said to her, “Look, I have not explained it to my father or my mother; so should I explain it to you?”

Now she had wept on him the seven days while their feast lasted. And it happened on the seventh day that he told her, because she pressed him so much. Then she explained the riddle to the sons of her people.

So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” And he said to them: “If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have solved my riddle!”

Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave the changes of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. So his anger was aroused, and he went back up to his father’s house.

And Samson’s wife was given to his companion, who had been his best man.

In these verses, they came to Samson with thirty companions. Then Samson posed a riddle for them to answer Judges 14: 12 Then Samson said to them, “Let me pose a riddle to you. If you can correctly solve and explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.

In the above-mentioned verses, because Samson posed a riddle to those thirty companions, he said that I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing. But if you cannot explain it to me, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing. That riddle is, “Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet.”

My dear people, what the above-mentioned riddle is that the companions who came there were Philistines and they were those without circumcision and as those who have not accepted the truth of God and knowing this God is moving the soul of Samson. Also, to take the Israelites that destroyed them he is making him lust over the Philistine woman.  That is, to reveal the deeds of God when he is coming by that way, a young lion is coming opposite him. In this manner, Samson is having the anointing to tear and throw away the young lion. By that anointing, since Samson is tearing the young lion there is a swarm of bees and honey. From this what we must understand is that he is destroyed the deeds of the Philistines is us and the sound of rejoicing will be heard over them and showing us this, in this manner if those thirty companions come to know the spiritual secrets, then they will be saved and if not, God will change it to give it to others and we can understand this. But he is telling them to solve the riddle within seven days. Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.

On the seventh day that they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may explain the riddle to us, or else we will burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you invited us in order to take what is ours? Is that not so?” Then Samson’s wife wept on him, and said in Judges 14: 16, 17 Then Samson’s wife wept on him, and said, “You only hate me!

According to what is said above she enticed him and because she deceived him he explained that riddle. Then she told that to her people. So they said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” And he said to them: “If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have solved my riddle!” Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave the changes of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. So his anger was aroused, and he went back up to his father’s house. And Samson’s wife was given to his companion, who had been his best man.

My dear people, in the above-mentioned verses the explanation is how God is delivering and saving Israel from the hands of the Philistines and Samson, by the lusts of his eyes the Philistine woman who came how she is deceiving the Israelite and how he delivered the deceived Israelite from that woman we can understand these. Therefore, let us submit ourselves to safeguard our soul always from the deeds of the Philistines.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
