“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 45: 17 I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should be submitted as a complete living sacrifice and offering.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church we must do deeds so that the Spirit of God descends upon us.
Also, next what we are meditating is that Judges 11: 29 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh, and passed through Mizpah of Gilead; and from Mizpah of Gilead he advanced toward the people of Ammon.
When we meditate on the above-mentioned verses, though Jephthah was the son of a harlot because he was in fellowship with the children of Israel and because he fought for them, we see that the Spirit of God descends upon him. Because the Spirit of God descended upon him in this manner, he passed through Gilead and Manasseh, and passed through Mizpah of Gilead; and from there he advanced toward the people of Ammon. Also, when he was going toward the people of Ammon the vow that he made was that Judges 11: 30, 31 And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord, and said, “If You will indeed deliver the people of Ammon into my hands,
then it will be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the people of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.”
According to the above-mentioned words, after he had made the vow Jephthah advanced toward the people of Ammon to fight against them, and the Lord delivered them into his hands. And he defeated them from Aroer as far as Minnith—twenty cities—and to Abel Keramim, with a very great slaughter. Thus the people of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. Then he comes to his house at Mizpah Judges 11: 34 – 36 When Jephthah came to his house at Mizpah, there was his daughter, coming out to meet him with timbrels and dancing; and she was his only child. Besides her he had neither son nor daughter.
And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he tore his clothes, and said, “Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low! You are among those who trouble me! For I have given my word to the Lord, and I cannot go back on it.”
So she said to him, “My father, if you have given your word to the Lord, do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth, because the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the people of Ammon.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses for the vow that Jephthah took his only daughter when he was returning to his house came out to meet him with timbrels and dancing; when he saw her, that he tore his clothes, and said, “Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low! You are among those who trouble me! And he told his daughter about the vow that he had made and he said that because I have given my word to the Lord, and I cannot go back on it.” His daughter said to him, “My father, if you have given your word to the Lord, do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth, because the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the people of Ammon.” Then he says that in Judges 11: 37 – 40 Then she said to her father, “Let this thing be done for me: let me alone for two months, that I may go and wander on the mountains and bewail my virginity, my friends and I.”
So he said, “Go.” And he sent her away for two months; and she went with her friends and bewailed her virginity on the mountains.
And it was so at the end of two months that she returned to her father, and he carried out his vow with her which he had vowed. She knew no man. And it became a custom in Israel
that the daughters of Israel went four days each year to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite.
The above-mentioned verses if it will meet our soul what God is showing as a pattern is that our only soul gets stuck in wrong thoughts (deeds of the Gentiles) we are making the righteousness which comes from God to be lost. In this manner it becomes the reason for the deeds of Ammonites to follow and catch us. Also, when we think regarding these facts, The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. The verses regarding this Psalms 87: 1 – 7 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah
“I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me; Behold, O Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: ‘This one was born there.’”
And of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her; and the Most High Himself shall establish her.”
The Lord will record, when He registers the peoples: “This one was born there.” Selah
Both the singers and the players on instruments say, “All my springs are in you.”
My dear people, the facts regarding the above-mentioned verses is that it is there in the birth of our soul. The reason for that is everyone’s birth where it is registered only the Most High will establish. Because it is in this manner our soul which is stuck, if the deeds of righteousness that it is wearing if it has to be delivered without perishing our soul should be open and our soul along with Christ should be given as a living sacrifice and we must be prepared for it and before God just like Jephthah made a vow if we make a vow before God, then God will make the matter to be fulfilled and he will save us. The pattern regarding this is that, according to the vow of Jephthah his daughter, when he won the war and returned she is coming from the house means our inner soul along with the sound of dancing and singing regarding God is alive and to offer ourselves as a burnt offering we must all come forward and God is showing us this.
Also, the daughter of Jephthah asks her father that I want to do one thing and I am asking that let me alone for two months, that I may go and wander on the mountains and bewail my virginity, my friends and I. So he said, “Go.” And he sent her away; and she went with her friends and bewailed her virginity on the mountains. And it was so at the end of two months that she returned to her father, and he carried out his vow with her which he had vowed. She knew no man. And it is written that the daughters of Israel went four days each year to lament for her.
My dear people, what God is showing as a pattern here a virgin who did not know a husband, in her young age put away the worldly experiences for her and to submit her soul for God to have fellowship with God along with her friends went up to the mountains and comes back. This means for the fellowship of Christ she is making a connection and her soul is being united with Christ and this is manifested. Regarding this, Psalms 45: 13, 14 The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; her clothing is woven with gold.
She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You.
According to the above-mentioned verses, let us submit ourselves to God completely.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
