“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

James 5: 7, 8 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Our heart, the bride, the church should be steadfast by the Spirit of God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not give place to any positions related to the world and should be as those yielding fruit according to Christ.

Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 9: 16 – 23 “Now therefore, if you have acted in truth and sincerity in making Abimelech king, and if you have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done to him as he deserves—

for my father fought for you, risked his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian;

but you have risen up against my father’s house this day, and killed his seventy sons on one stone, and made Abimelech, the son of his female servant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother—

if then you have acted in truth and sincerity with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you.

But if not, let fire come from Abimelech and devour the men of Shechem and Beth Millo; and let fire come from the men of Shechem and from Beth Millo and devour Abimelech!”

And Jotham ran away and fled; and he went to Beer and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.

After Abimelech had reigned over Israel three years,

God sent a spirit of ill will between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech,

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, regarding the brambles and that brambles as an example of Abimelech it is being mentioned in the verses and this is to be noted.  That is, brambles are being compared to the fleshly generation. Also, when we mention Jotham it is showing the spiritual side, and after telling regarding things of the flesh what he is telling is that  for my father fought for you, risked his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian; but you have risen up against my father’s house this day, and killed his seventy sons on one stone, and made Abimelech, the son of his female servant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother—

But if the deed that you have made him king is in truth and sincerity with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, and according to deeds of his hand if you have done to him and in this manner thew way you have led them if it is in truth and sincerity then rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you. But if not, let fire come from Abimelech and devour the men of Shechem and Beth Millo; said Jotham and he ran away and fled; and he went to Beer and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.

My dear people, Jotham saying in this manner without the will of God according to the thinking of man if we make one person as a king in the end he will do evil to do who made him king itself and his is what is the judgement of God and God is revealing this through Jotham here.  What this signifies is that the men of Shechem made Abimelech as king and this did not, please God. This is because those who are in the flesh cannot please God and that is said in Romans 8: 8. Also, in Romans 8: 6 the verse says for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. That is, flesh is killing us but spirit is reviving us. Also, our previous deeds, which are Abimelech the son of the bond woman kills the ones who are the inheritors means God is showing us this as a pattern that in our soul if we will give important place to fleshly thoughts then we cannot become steadfast in the spiritual thoughts.

Therefore, God is saying in Psalms 27: 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Therefore as our king, our Lord Jesus Christ is manifesting in our soul as the firstborn.  That is, righteousness, justice are the foundations of his throne.  But against that if we will give place to our flesh, our thoughts that itself will come and will devour us like fire and there is no change in that.

Therefore, my dear people in God’s word in James 5: 1 – 3 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you!

Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.

Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, more than the words of Christ we must not keep anything as higher thought in our soul.  If we keep in this manner, that itself will judge us and that God is using Abimelech and is showing us as a pattern. Regarding that, we can see that there God is saying that using Jotham. Also, Abimelech had reigned over Israel three years, then God sent a spirit of ill will between Abimelech and the men of Shechem. That is, what we must think is that those who are coming to us along with the fleshly thoughts we must be very careful. Otherwise, God will cause evil to happen between them and us.

Therefore, my dear people we must always be careful and must always be in fellowship with God. Then our heart will become steadfast. In this manner, let us submit ourselves so that our heart will be steadfast.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
