“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 8: 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should deliver our soul from the Midianites, who are the fleshly thoughts of the Ishmaelites and we must safeguard our soul.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that for our heart, the bride, the church to change as the altar of Christ our old traditional altar of Baal should be broken down.
Next what we are meditating is that Judges 7: 1 – 4 Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the well of Harod, so that the camp of the Midianites was on the north side of them by the hill of Moreh in the valley.
And the Lord said to Gideon, “The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’
Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.’” And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained.
But the Lord said to Gideon, “The people are still too many; bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. Then it will be, that of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall go with you,’ the same shall go with you; and of whomever I say to you, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ the same shall not go.”
The facts regarding the above-mentioned words is that Gideon is being named as Jerubbaal and is this because he destroyed the altar of Baal they said that let Baal fight with him and that name was put. Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the well of Harod, but the camp of the Midianites was on the north side of them by the hill of Moreh. But many Israelites were there along with Gideon. Therefore God told Gideon The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’ Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.’” And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained.
Then what the Lord said to Gideon is that, “The people are still too many; bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. Then it will be, that of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall go with you,’ the same shall go with you; and of whomever I say to you, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ the same shall not go.” So Gideon did just like what God told him. That is, in Judges 7: 5, 6 So he brought the people down to the water. And the Lord said to Gideon, “Everyone who laps from the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set apart by himself; likewise everyone who gets down on his knees to drink.”
And the number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men; but all the rest of the people got down on their knees to drink water.
In the above-mentioned verses, God chose the three hundred men who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth as a dog. Then what he is telling Gideon is that by the three hundred men who lapped I will save you and deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people go, every man to his place. In the same manner, in Judges 7: 7, 8 Then the Lord said to Gideon, “By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you and deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people go, every man to his place.”
So the people took provisions and their trumpets in their hands. And he sent away all the rest of Israel, every man to his tent, and retained those three hundred men. Now the camp of Midian was below him in the valley.
According to the above-mentioned verses, he chose only the three hundred men who were chosen by God. Now the army of Midian was below him in the valley. It happened on the same night that the Lord said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, for I have delivered it into your hand.
My dear people, all these things when we meditate upon them, we must set up an altar in our heart for God and destroy the altar of Baal and if we submit ourselves only to God then God will not allow any thoughts of Midianites to come into our soul and he will rule over us and there is no change in that. For this only, God is using Gideon and showing us as a pattern. That is, Midianites means Ishmaelites. Ishmaelites means they are those who live without destroying the deeds of the flesh. They will always walk with the thoughts of the flesh. But only if our soul walks with the thoughts of the Spirit God is calling them Israelites.
But among many Israelites also, thoughts of flesh will take place mainly. God is not pleased with such kind of people. That is why, God is telling that not all Israelites are Israelites. Therefore many among the Israelites are fearful and afraid of war and they should run away and as soon as it was told many people left. But even in that, among the ten thousand people that were there, the number of people separated by God for war was three hundred. They took water in their hand and drank it by lapping. They were the ones who did not despise even one of the word of God but accepted everything completely and walked according to it. The people who walk in this manner are only the spiritual Israelite. They are the ones who fight with the enemies and they are the reason for receiving victory.
Such people are being trained by God for war along with him and they are removing all their fleshly thoughts from within, and he is saving them. Let us submit ourselves to become in this manner.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
