“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

James 1: 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Our soul, the bride, the church should not be filled with evil teaching and should be safeguarded.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church we must not give place for foreign gods and through our Lord Jesus Christ, our soul should inherit salvation and receive quietness.

Next what we are meditating is that Judges 3: 12 – 31 And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord strengthened Eglon king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord.

Then he gathered to himself the people of Ammon and Amalek, went and defeated Israel, and took possession of the City of Palms.

So the children of Israel served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years.

But when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. By him the children of Israel sent tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

Now Ehud made himself a dagger (it was double-edged and a cubit in length) and fastened it under his clothes on his right thigh.

So he brought the tribute to Eglon king of Moab. (Now Eglon was a very fat man.) 18 And when he had finished presenting the tribute, he sent away the people who had carried the tribute.

But he himself turned back from the stone images that were at Gilgal, and said, “I have a secret message for you, O king.” He said, “Keep silence!” And all who attended him went out from him.

So Ehud came to him (now he was sitting upstairs in his cool private chamber). Then Ehud said, “I have a message from God for you.” So he arose from his seat.

Then Ehud reached with his left hand, took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly.

Even the hilt went in after the blade, and the fat closed over the blade, for he did not draw the dagger out of his belly; and his entrails came out.

Then Ehud went out through the porch and shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them.

When he had gone out, Eglon’s servants came to look, and to their surprise, the doors of the upper room were locked. So they said, “He is probably attending to his needs in the cool chamber.”

So they waited till they were embarrassed, and still he had not opened the doors of the upper room. Therefore they took the key and opened them. And there was their master, fallen dead on the floor.

But Ehud had escaped while they delayed, and passed beyond the stone images and escaped to Seirah.

And it happened, when he arrived, that he blew the trumpet in the mountains of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mountains; and he led them.

Then he said to them, “Follow me, for the Lord has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him, seized the fords of the Jordan leading to Moab, and did not allow anyone to cross over.

And at that time they killed about ten thousand men of Moab, all stout men of valor; not a man escaped.

So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years.

After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred men of the Philistines with an ox goad; and he also delivered Israel.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the children of Israel received quietness of the mind through Othniel the son of Kenaz and this God is showing as a pattern to Christ. But after the death of Othniel, the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord strengthened Eglon king of Moab against Israel. Then he gathered to himself the people of Ammon and Amalek, went and defeated Israel, and took possession of the City of Palms. So the children of Israel served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years. When they were serving in this manner, they cried out to the Lord.

When they called in this manner the Lord raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. But by him the children of Israel sent tribute to Eglon king of Moab. Now Ehud made himself a dagger (it was double-edged and a cubit in length) and fastened it under his clothes on his right thigh and he brought the tribute to Eglon king of Moab. My dear people, the facts regarding the previous portions is that to save Israel before Christ was manifested God raised up the above-mentioned people and is saving Israel and the fact regarding this is that though God has delivered and saved us from the Gentiles again we do evil things against God and because our soul is fattened and filled with many kinds of images, idols and unnecessary evil teachings God is calling our soul as the king of Moab. But because our soul is fattened in this manner with evil teachings the gift of prophecy that was received by God is being destroyed by the Moabites.

Therefore, God with his great strength to destroy the evil teaching that the people have eaten comes within us secretly as one filled with all wisdom and removes his word of God, the dagger and destroys our soul which is filled with the evil teaching so that it does not rule us from our soul, the inner room. Those people, the deeds of Moab when they see this because those deeds are not being manifested, they think that he is attending to his needs and waited till they were embarrassed and then taking the key and opening means that they are sending their supplication to God. When they are praying in this manner, those deeds which are the king of Moab has died and they are able to know this.

After that all those people are being destroyed by the Israelites. In this manner from our soul when the man of pride, the Moabites are being destroyed our soul sees quietness. When this takes place along with us the deeds of the Philistines that is there in our soul is being beaten by God with his ox goad and is delivering the Israelites and God is showing this as a pattern to us.

Therefore, my dear people our inner man to attain the image of God and our soul to do the good deeds, which is Christ and our inner body if it must put on the strength of God and rise up, images, worship, idol worship, infatuations, pleasures, the evil lusts should be all removed from us. Therefore let us submit ourselves to grow in the good deeds of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
