“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 42: 13 The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should not be yoked with foreign gods and through Christ should receive the salvation of the soul, which is quietness.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that when God is testing and knowing us, the bride, the church we must never leave God and we must be careful.
But next what we are meditating is that Judges 3: 1, 2 Now these are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars in Canaan
(this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it),
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the nations which the Lord left that He might test all of Israel by them because they had not known any of the wars in the land of Canaan so that the generations of the children of Israel who had not formerly known to fight war and for them to be taught to know war are in Judges 3: 3 namely, five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to the entrance of Hamath.
Also, they were left by God, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses. In this manner, the children of Israel dwelt in the midst of the Gentiles. So by dwelling in the midst of the Gentiles they took their daughters to be their wives and gave their daughters to their sons; and they served their gods. So by serving foreign gods and did evil in the sight of the Lord.
Therefore the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and He sold them into the hand of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel served Cushan-Rishathaim eight years. When the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for the children of Israel, who delivered them: Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord delivered Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed over Cushan-Rishathaim. So the land had rest for forty years.
My dear people, the facts regarding what is said above is that because we have separated ourselves from the Gentiles God is training us for war. The reason for this is that because within us the deeds of the Gentiles have not completely changed and we are keeping contact with the Gentiles and because we are developing relationship with them we are becoming as those who serve foreign gods. Therefore God is becoming angry with us and submitting us into the hands of the enemy and is submitting us to be crushed. In this manner when we are being crushed, our sin, iniquity and transgression which are our mistakes should be confessed to God by us. When we confess in this manner, he sends our Lord Christ our saviour for us into our soul. In this manner, Christ fights within us and overcomes the enemy and becomes victorious and he is showing this as a pattern for that.
When Christ is winning in this manner, the deeds of the Gentiles are removed from our soul and when the deeds of righteousness increase our soul will receive quietness. In this manner, for our soul to receive salvation, which is the quietness let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
