“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 97: 7 Let all be put to shame who serve carved images, who boast of idols. Worship Him, all you gods.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
In the heart, the altar of our, the bride, the church there should not be place for foreign gods and we must renew ourselves.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should worship God everyday in spirit and in truth and we meditated this with patterns.
Next, what we are meditating is that Judges 2: 1 – 5 Then the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim and said: “I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you.
And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this?
Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’”
So it was, when the Angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voices and wept.
Then they called the name of that place Bochim; and they sacrificed there to the Lord.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the boundary of the Amorites was from the Ascent of Akrabbim, from Sela, and upward and this was written yesterday. That is, all over the land in all the souls the deeds of the Amorites without any limit is without any control. This has received place among many Israelites and to show this it is shown as a pattern.
Therefore the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim and said to the Israelites that: “I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you. And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; and I said that you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this? Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’” So it was, when the Angel of the Lord spoke these words that the people lifted up their voices and wept. Then they called the name of that place Bochim; and they sacrificed there to the Lord.
My dear people, when we read this the things that we must think about are that the deeds of the Amorites, which are the thoughts of idols, evil deeds, decorations because these have received a place in our souls, we are breaking the covenant that we have taken with God. Therefore what God is telling is that we are making a covenant with their gods. This is because our soul, the altar because there are the deeds of the foreign gods he is telling that the altar has not be broken down. Therefore, the enemies that are coming before us God is saying that he is not driving them away. Because we are in this manner, God is not driving them away from us means that those gods will be a snare for us.
My loving people who are reading this, if such deeds are there within us then we must change ourselves into the altar of Christ and for God to cleanse us our heart should be as a new altar by putting away all the evil deeds and we must submit ourselves to God as a living sacrifice.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
