“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Hallelujah 

We, the bride, the church should be careful so that we do not follow again the evil deeds that we have left and we must be careful so that we do not lose the way and we must safeguard our souls.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated along with patterns that each one of us, the bride, the church should be careful to always safeguard the goodness of our soul that we have received from God.

Next, the portion of the Bible that we are meditating upon is Joshua 23: 9 – 16 For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; but as for you, no one has been able to stand against you to this day. 

One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you. 

Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the Lord your God. 

Or else, if indeed you do go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations—these that remain among you—and make marriages with them, and go in to them and they to you, 

know for certain that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. But they shall be snares and traps to you, and scourges on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which the Lord your God has given you.

“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. 

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all the good things have come upon you which the Lord your God promised you, so the Lord will bring upon you all harmful things, until He has destroyed you from this good land which the Lord your God has given you. 

When you have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed down to them, then the anger of the Lord will burn against you, and you shall perish quickly from the good land which He has given you.”

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them: For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; but as for you, no one has been able to stand against you to this day. Also, one man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you. Therefore he is telling to take careful heed of your souls, that you love the Lord your God.

My dear people, because many kinds of worldly evil deeds were changed from us which did not allow us to love only God so were able to inherit Christ. If still our soul should increase in love for God, every day our soul should continue to be renewed. Also, whatever things were removed nothing should be given place to come into our soul and we must safeguard it and be careful regarding this. If we do not do in this manner and we enter into our old life, then God will not drive away these Gentiles from us and from this good land which the Lord has given us (Canaan which is Christ) till our soul gets destroyed, these Gentiles who were driven will be as snares and traps and scourges on your sides and thorns in your eyes says the Lord.

Also, God is fulfilling all the words that he has told us without letting any one fail. In this manner how he is fulfilling it, without fail in this manner we are breaking the covenants which the Lord has commanded and serving foreign gods (foreign deeds) and in the time when we worship them, till we are destroyed from this good land he is making evil things to come. The anger of God will burn in the midst of those who are walking in this manner. Our soul will be spoil and perish away. 

Therefore, let us submit ourselves so that the eternal life, the goodness that our Lord has given should never be destroyed and he should safeguard us so that we do not perish.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
