Psalms 105: 44, 45 He gave them the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labour of the nations,

That they might observe His statutes and keep His laws. Praise the Lord!

We, the bride, the church should distribute the strength that we have received to other brothers.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church in our spiritual life how we must come forward and the faith that we have in Christ how we must make it firm and the kingdom of Christ how we must possess it completely and God is explaining and showing us with many patterns and we have been meditating regarding this. Also, each one of us for the holiness of God we should put on the whole armour of God and only with it we can fight against Satan and receive victory and we meditated regarding this. Also, many of the children of Israel because they have not destroyed the deeds of the Gentiles God is becoming angry and we meditated regarding this.

But today what we will be meditating upon next is that Joshua 18: 1 – 10 Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them. 

But there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance.

Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you? 

Pick out from among you three men for each tribe, and I will send them; they shall rise and go through the land, survey it according to their inheritance, and come back to me. 

And they shall divide it into seven parts. Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north. 

You shall therefore survey the land in seven parts and bring the survey here to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord our God. 

But the Levites have no part among you, for the priesthood of the Lord is their inheritance. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave them.”

Then the men arose to go away; and Joshua charged those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go, walk through the land, survey it, and come back to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shiloh.” 

So the men went, passed through the land, and wrote the survey in a book in seven parts by cities; and they came to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh. 

Then Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord, and there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.

The facts regarding the above-mentioned verses are that the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them. My dear people, we must think one thing just by being as believers for our own good or for our own earning we must not search God but first we must become Christ’s complete possession and unite along with him and he should unite with us and we should possess the land of the Gentiles and only if we have this good aim within us we will be as inheritors along with Christ. But as a pattern for this, the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.

Also, there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance. Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you? This is because it is written that he who is neglectful in the work of God is cursed. 

Also, what Joshua said is that pick out from among you three men for each tribe, and I will send them; they shall rise and go through the land, survey it according to their inheritance, and come back to me. And they shall divide it into seven parts. Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north. Also, you shall therefore survey the land in seven parts and they brought it to Shiloh where the tabernacle of the Lord to Joshua. Then Joshua for them, in Shiloh in the presence of the Lord cast lots and there for the children of Israel he divided the land according to the portion allocated to them.

What this shows as a pattern is that after we have possessed Christ completely from the strength that we have received from him, we must give a portion of him to our other brothers. In this manner we must possess the land. Let us submit ourselves.
