“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Thessalonians 3: 13 So that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

For all of us, the bride, the church God has ordained only one kind of portion.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated with patterns that we, the bride, the church should be as God’s children and as those who see him always.

Next, what we will be meditating is that Joshua 17: 1 – 13 There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh, for he was the firstborn of Joseph: namely for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, because he was a man of war; therefore he was given Gilead and Bashan.

And there was a lot for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: for the children of Abiezer, the children of Helek, the children of Asriel, the children of Shechem, the children of Hepher, and the children of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.

But Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but only daughters. And these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

And they came near before Eleazar the priest, before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the rulers, saying, “The Lord commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers.” Therefore, according to the commandment of the Lord, he gave them an inheritance among their father’s brothers.

Ten shares fell to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the other side of the Jordan,

because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons; and the rest of Manasseh’s sons had the land of Gilead.

And the territory of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethath, that lies east of Shechem; and the border went along south to the inhabitants of En Tappuah.

Manasseh had the land of Tappuah, but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the children of Ephraim.

And the border descended to the Brook Kanah, southward to the brook. These cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh. The border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook; and it ended at the sea.

Southward it was Ephraim’s, northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea was its border. Manasseh’s territory was adjoining Asher on the north and Issachar on the east.

And in Issachar and in Asher, Manasseh had Beth Shean and its towns, Ibleam and its towns, the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, the inhabitants of En Dor and its towns, the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns—three hilly regions.

Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities, but the Canaanites were determined to dwell in that land.

And it happened, when the children of Israel grew strong, that they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not utterly drive them out.

In the above-mentioned verses, Manasseh, was the firstborn of Joseph. Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, because he was a man of war; therefore he was given Gilead and Bashan. Next in the second verse, those who were mentioned were the male children of Manasseh. Also, what we meditated upon few days back Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, had no sons, but only daughters.

What the explanations of this is that God is saying with a pattern that within the church of Israel, all have one portion and inheritance just like the sons the daughters also have them, and he is explaining and showing this. Therefore, Galatians 3: 26 – 29 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The above-mentioned verses are making this clear for us. My dear people, many people will say that if its women they do not have a place to work in the church of Christ. This is a wrong fact. He is not partial. God is showing this as a pattern even in the portions of the Old Testament.

Also, ten shares fell to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the other side of the Jordan, because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons; and the rest of Manasseh’s sons had the land of Gilead.

My dear people, the explanation of this with a pattern is that with Israel, the church the deeds of the Gentiles will be stuck and living in this manner in the end in the souls of the people because evil deeds are rising their life will go and end in wickedness. Also, Manasseh’s territory was adjoining Asher on the north and Issachar on the east. And in Issachar and in Asher, Manasseh had three towns. Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities, but the Canaanites were determined to dwell in that land. And it happened, when the children of Israel grew strong, that they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not utterly drive them out.

In this manner, if the Israelites were as those who built half, God sends his Son and gives us complete salvation. Everything mentioned above is what Christ is showing before hand as a pattern to save our soul.

Therefore let us submit ourselves to cleanse ourselves so that no deeds of the Gentiles should be within us.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
