“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Hebrews 1: 11, 12 They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like a garment;

Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church by baptism have become one within Christ Jesus.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our life, the bride, the church if we hope only on God, we will be blessed.

Next what we are meditating is that Joshua 14: 1 – 5 These are the areas which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel distributed as an inheritance to them.

Their inheritance was by lot, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes and the half-tribe.

For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half-tribe on the other side of the Jordan; but to the Levites he had given no inheritance among them.

For the children of Joseph were two tribes: Manasseh and Ephraim. And they gave no part to the Levites in the land, except cities to dwell in, with their common lands for their livestock and their property.

As the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did; and they divided the land.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the areas which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel distributed as an inheritance to them was by lot, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes and the half-tribe.

What this shows as a pattern is that the land of Canaan that we are inheriting is our Lord Jesus Christ. Those who have inherited him are those who have put him on. That is, our Lord Jesus’s suffering and death became a deliverance for our life. That is, Psalms 22: 17 – 23 I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.

They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.

But You, O Lord, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me!

Deliver Me from the sword, myprecious life from the power of the dog.

Save Me from the lion’s mouth and from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me.

I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

You who fear the Lord, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, and fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!

The above-mentioned verses delivered us from sin, death, and such things. That is, they divided my garments among them and for My clothing they cast lots says our Lord Jesus Christ.  In the portion of the Old Testament, where this is showed as a pattern all the lands were divided by putting lots. But Moses distributed for the nine tribes and the half-tribe and for the two tribes and the half-tribe he gave them inheritance on the other side of the Jordan; but to the Levites he had given no inheritance among them.

My dear people, the two tribes and the half tribe signify what is written as on the other side of Jordan who they are is that those who have received victory through Christ and have received baptism. But the children of Joseph were two tribes: Manasseh and Ephraim. And they gave no part to the Levites in the land, except cities to dwell in, with their common lands for their livestock and their property. Also, in Galatians 3: 23 – 29 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.

Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

In the above-mentioned verses the facts are that before our faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ and that there is no difference among them, and such people are all one in Christ Jesus. In this manner, our Lord Jesus Christ is making everyone as one. In this manner, he is making all into one brotherhood. Let us submit ourselves in this manner to become one as brothers.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
