“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 32: 17 The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

In our life, the bride, the church the way that we must walk to receive quietness of the mind and the peace of God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that if we, the bride, the church repent then all the evil deeds that are there in our soul, by our faith for us to remove them from ourselves, our Lord Jesus Christ, in our soul, fights with his spirit and destroys the deeds of the giant and receives victory and that if we do not repent he punishes us in many different ways and we meditated regarding this.

Regarding this, he is using Joshua he is showing many things as a pattern and also, he gives vision to John in the island of Patmos and our repentance and forgiveness of our sin, and salvation how we receive them in our lives regarding this it is written in the word of God. That is, in Joshua 11: 13 – 15   But as for the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel burned none of them, except Hazor only, which Joshua burned. 

And all the spoil of these cities and the livestock, the children of Israel took as booty for themselves; but they struck every man with the edge of the sword until they had destroyed them, and they left none breathing.

As the Lord had commanded Moses His servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, we see that Joshua did according to everything what the Lord had commanded Moses to do. Also, he struck the ten kings and cut them and caught all their cities and we see that he destroys them. But as for the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel burned none of them and kept them. Only Hazor was burned by Joshua. Hazor was the head of all those kingdoms. And all the spoil of these cities and the livestock, the children of Israel took as booty for themselves; but they struck every man with the edge of the sword until they had destroyed them, and they left none breathing. Joshua left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.

My dear people, in our life whatever situation may come we must do everything that the Lord commands us without leaving anything undone. Also, the things that Joshua did, so that no foreign fire (world) may deceive our soul to safeguard it any city of the Gentiles should not arise in us and to protect us we must burn the foreign deeds by the word of God, which is the fire. We must not keep anything remaining in that and each one of us must understand this.

In this manner, in Joshua 11: 16 – 20 Thus Joshua took all this land: the mountain country, all the South, all the land of Goshen, the lowland, and the Jordan plain—the mountains of Israel and its lowlands, 

from Mount Halak and the ascent to Seir, even as far as Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. He captured all their kings and struck them down and killed them. 

Joshua made war a long time with all those kings. 

There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. All the others they took in battle. 

For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that He might utterly destroy them, and that they might receive no mercy, but that He might destroy them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Joshua captured the above-mentioned lands and fought with all their kings. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. All the others they took in battle. What this signifies is that the self-enjoyment life that is in us should all be burned and for this it is written that all the fortified cities were burnt. After doing this, in this manner, it is written that those things the Israelites can take them. In this way we must not show mercy to these things and we must destroy all those evil thoughts and this will be a thing that comes from the Lord.

In this manner, Joshua went and cut off the Anakim from all the mountains and utterly destroyed them with their cities. The explanation of this is that in the things of the Israelites, those who are saved no spirit of giant’s deeds should work within us and we must properly cleanse and do the deeds of righteousness and should be made holy and this is showing that. But Joshua destroyed the Gentiles and captured the cities and, in the surroundings, some remained only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod. So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord had said to Moses; and Joshua gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. Then the land rested from war.

My dear people, in each one of our lives in these days we must analyse ourselves and it is very necessary that we must know ourselves. That is, in our life the reason there is no peace and quietness, when we read the previous portions and meditate upon them, we must analyse ourselves. That is, though we believe and have been saved by Christ the reason we do not have peace is the sin, iniquity and such evil deeds have not been completely destroyed within us and without leaving our old traditional life, we keep few for few things and live our life. The reason for this is that there is no complete submission.

Therefore we do not have quietness. God is showing this as a pattern and when we will get quietness is that when we remove the things which we must remove from us and when we do deeds of righteousness and when we accept Christ truly with whole mind, that is we must make it work by our deeds. Then we will get the peace of God which is above all things. In this manner let us submit ourselves to receive quietness and peace.
