“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 59: 17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

For us, the bride, the church God is the God that takes revenge upon our enemies.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding the way that God showed us how we, the bride, the church should deliver and save our soul from the hands of the enemy and God showed us this as a pattern through Joshua.

Next, what we are meditating is that Joshua 10: 12 – 21 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people had revenge upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.

Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal.

But these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

And it was told Joshua, saying, “The five kings have been found hidden in the cave at Makkedah.”

So Joshua said, “Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave, and set men by it to guard them.

And do not stay there yourselves, but pursue your enemies, and attack their rear guard. Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand.”

Then it happened, while Joshua and the children of Israel made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they had finished, that those who escaped entered fortified cities.

And all the people returned to the camp, to Joshua at Makkedah, in peace. No one moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. On the day that they were delivered up, Joshua spoke to the Lord and then in the sight of Israel: he said “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people had revenge upon their enemies. This is written in the Book of Jasher. So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

My dear people, when we say in the midst of heaven in a pattern God is telling regarding the soul of those who have accepted our Lord Jesus and have been saved. Also, having revenge upon their enemies what that means is that when our soul is deceived and is made far away from God by our enemies, who are the evil Gentiles when they pressurize us, God will be a help for us and fight for us and to have revenge upon our enemies our Lord Jesus as the sun and the Holy Spirit as the moon for us, just like how we plead to him he stands in our soul and reveals himself as one who fights for us and God is showing this as a pattern to us.

And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; and we can surely know this. This is because now its not man, our Lord Jesus Christ is making supplication for us to the Father and is fighting for us and is making us win. After God fought for Israel in this manner, Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal.

But these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in a cave at Makkedah. And it was told Joshua, saying, “The five kings have been found hidden in the cave at Makkedah.” So Joshua said, “Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave, and set men by it to guard them. And do not stay there yourselves, but pursue your enemies, and attack their rear guard. Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand.” Then it happened, while Joshua and the children of Israel made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they had finished, that those who escaped entered fortified cities. And all the people returned to the camp, to Joshua at Makkedah, in peace. No one moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

My dear people, many people may speak many things against us. That is, the deeds of the enemies that are there in us and we must know that. That is fighting against our peace. To be delivered from it, we must destroy it with his verses. Otherwise due to that God will use others and will cause pressure for us. This is because if we are in this manner, we will accept the God of peace in our soul and we will give place to him and due to this reason God is doing this and Christ, as the sun and the Holy Spirit, the bride as the moon will stand within us as an army and will fight and overcome the enemies and will prevent them from entering into the city of Jerusalem.

But those who do not fall in that slaughter will enter into fortified cities. But no one moved their tongue against Israel. In this manner, God will stop the tongues of those who are speaking against us. In this manner, let us submit ourselves for our soul to be cleansed.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
