“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Zechariah 8: 13 And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, let your hands be strong.’
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should possess blessing not curse in the presence of the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should burn and cleanse the evil deeds of the Gentiles in our soul in the early morning by the word of God, which is the fire and we meditated regarding this.
Next, what we are meditating is that Joshua 8: 22 – 33 Then the others came out of the city against them; so they were caught in the midst of Israel, some on this side and some on that side. And they struck them down, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
But the king of Ai they took alive, and brought him to Joshua.
And it came to pass when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness where they pursued them, and when they all had fallen by the edge of the sword until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned to Ai and struck it with the edge of the sword.
So it was that all who fell that day, both men and women, were twelve thousand—all the people of Ai.
For Joshua did not draw back his hand, with which he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
Only the livestock and the spoil of that city Israel took as booty for themselves, according to the word of the Lord which He had commanded Joshua.
So Joshua burned Ai and made it a heap forever, a desolation to this day.
And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until evening. And as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his corpse down from the tree, cast it at the entrance of the gate of the city, and raise over it a great heap of stones that remains to this day.
Now Joshua built an altar to the Lord God of Israel in Mount Ebal,
as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses: “an altar of whole stones over which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.
And there, in the presence of the children of Israel, he wrote on the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he had written.
Then all Israel, with their elders and officers and judges, stood on either side of the ark before the priests, the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, the stranger as well as he who was born among them. Half of them were in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
If we will meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, after capturing the city of Ai and after they struck down and cut the people of Ai by the edge of the sword and after they fell and died by the sword that all the Israelites returned to Ai and struck it with the edge of the sword. The reason for this is that the dead deeds that are within us, even if they are destroyed by the word of God so that they do not work within us again we must destroy it completely.
For the explanation regarding this, to destroy all our deeds of iniquity regarding our Lord Jesus what is written that Messiah will be cut off, for our sin and iniquity and such things Messiah is cut and to be built again as New Jerusalem all the dead deeds of Gentiles should be completely removed from us and so that again those deeds should not gain life by the spirit of Christ our inner image is being revived.
Regarding this, Daniel 9: 22 – 27 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand.
At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision:
“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.
“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”
The above-mentioned words God revealed to the prophet Daniel and he is doing everything through Christ. Therefore we must all believe Christ and if we will walk in his path we will be saved. In this manner, all who fell that day, both men and women, were twelve thousand—all the people of Ai. Till all the inhabitants of Ai were destroyed, Joshua stretched out the spear.
Also, the Israelites according to the word of the Lord took the livestock and the spoil of that city as booty.
Now Joshua built an altar to the Lord God of Israel in Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses: “an altar of whole stones over which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings. After that, Joshua 8: 32, 33 And there, in the presence of the children of Israel, he wrote on the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he had written.
According to the above-mentioned words, Joshua did everything without leaving anything. After that, Joshua read these verses in front of everyone Joshua 8: 34, 35 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and the cursings, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law.
There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded which Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, with the women, the little ones, and the strangers who were living among them.
In this manner, my dear people if we will meditate on the things above, we must destroy all our evil deeds by the blood of Christ and according to what the Lord commanded to Israel, the church we must walk according to his commandments and we must be careful so that we do not receive curses and let us submit ourselves to receive blessings.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
