“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 63: 9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

If our, the bride, the church’s journey of faith does the will of God we will be victorious.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding we, the bride, the church attaining spiritual growth. That is, how we can attain spiritual growth is that our soul should be renewed continually every day. That is, within us many Gentile spirits are working against the true preaching of Christ and will be making us to walk against it. Then we will do sin and be stained with iniquity and commit transgressions. In this manner, the light which was present in our lives will be destroyed. 

Therefore, according to the truth in the Bible we must hear and know, analyse and confess the mistakes that are in us and if we receive mercy from God, we will receive deliverance from our enemies. In this manner we must renew our soul every day and if we will walk according to the truth then we can grow in spiritual growth daily. Regarding this, we meditated few things in the past days.

But today what we will be meditating is that Joshua 8: 1 – 3 Now the Lord said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land. 

And you shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king. Only its spoil and its cattle you shall take as booty for yourselves. Lay an ambush for the city behind it.”

So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai; and Joshua chose thirty thousand mighty men of valor and sent them away by night.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, since once they could not go against Ai and overcome it due to Achan, therefore Joshua according to the word of the Lord we can read that he was burned by fire and was buried. Then the Lord said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land.

The reason for this is that he finds the things that Achan had hid and kept for himself that is a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels and he send people and took them and destroyed them. Therefore God is telling that I have given Ai into your hands. So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai.

My dear people, let us submit ourselves so that our going is to do the will of God.
