“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 109: 30 I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
If we, the bride, the church accepts things that are cursed then our soul will die.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should remove the things that are cursed from us and no one should wear or decorate the parts of their body with things that perish like gold, silver, bronze and iron and if anyone breaks this and considers them important and if they decorate their bodies with them then they are accursed and we meditated regarding this. God is showing their souls as a pattern of the city of Jericho which is being destroyed. That is why, God is making the city of Jericho to fall down flat by the sound of shouting.
Next, what we are meditating is that Joshua 6: 18 – 25 And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.”
So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
But Joshua had said to the two men who had spied out the country, “Go into the harlot’s house, and from there bring out the woman and all that she has, as you swore to her.”
And the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. So they brought out all her relatives and left them outside the camp of Israel.
But they burned the city and all that was in it with fire. Only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.
And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had. So she dwells in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
He said that by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.
Then the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then as the Lord said the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
My dear people, the facts regarding this is that he is showing us as a pattern that we are only that city of Jericho. Also, those who were destroyed to whom God is showing that as a pattern is that he is showing that to destroy harlotry. That is, lusts of the eyes and lusts of the flesh all these are the deeds of the harlot. Also, Joshua said to the spies whom he had sent go into the harlot’s house, and from there bring out the woman and all that she has.
Then the spies went in and brought the family members and relatives of the harlot and left them outside the camp of Israel. We must never give place for the spirit of harlotry inside the camp and we must chase them out. She will cunningly say it is the life of faith and will dwell in the midst of Israel as a family.
Therefore, Joshua 6: 26, 27 Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying, “Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.”
So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout all the country.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, after we have been saved once and after we have put on Christ, we must never rise up to build our body as the city of Jericho. In this manner, if our body is decorated with gold, silver and bronze then that body will be cursed. Also, when we put its foundation what is written as with his firstborn is that when our body is being built as the church of God 1 Corinthians 3: 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
According to the above-mentioned verse, these things should not come near our body. If we are like this, then he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates. The explanation of this is that the outer body and the inner body both will die. In all these things, the Lord was with Joshua. So, let us submit ourselves so that our life does not die.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
