“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Galatians 3: 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)

The way that we, the bride, the church gets delivered from the bondages of sin and curse – explanation with a pattern.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church must remove and leave all our traditional walks.

Next, what we are meditating is that Joshua 6: 1 – 5 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. 

And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 

You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 

And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 

It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 

And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. These things for what he is showing as a pattern is that we, for the forgiveness of sin we must receive the baptism by water and when we come out at the shore, the Holy Spirit descends upon us and tests us and he judges us. That is why, the word of God says it is written in Matthew 3: 10 that even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Also, in the pattern Joshua kept the Passover in the plains of Jericho and when he lifted his eyes and looked, we see that behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. What this is for is that if we do not walk in the holy path the sword will come against us. Not only that but in our journey of faith, not allowing us to go forward bondages of curse are as a big wall. Breaking this signifies that when we praise God and when we exalt the Holy One and when we blow the word of God, which is the trumpet and when we accept them in our soul and if we exalt God with a loud shout our soul is being delivered from the bondages of curse and we can understand this.

Therefore, in this manner Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and told them to do according to what the word of God said. Therefore, my dear people we must obey the words of God and let us submit ourselves to be delivered from curse. The explanations regarding this God willing we will meditate tomorrow by His grace.
