“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Peter 2: 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

If we, the bride, the church wants to become Christ’s own children we must receive the water baptism by immersion.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that for the harvest of our soul, the bride, the church what God has manifested as a pattern is that he is using Joshua to make the children of Israel cross Jordan. This is a pattern of receiving baptism by water and how through baptism our soul should fight the good fight and safeguard the faith and should hold on to eternal life and regarding this God is explaining and showing us this. That is, firstly how we will hold on to our Lord Jesus is that know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

That is, if we will be his people, he will be our God. Also, David is singing in Psalms 23 that The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Also, if we are the sheep of his pasture then it means that He is our shepherd. Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ is saying that I am the good shepherd. John 10: 11 – 16 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.

The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, he gives his life for us and he delivers us from all troubles and saves us. Regarding that only, Jesus Christ is saying that I have not come to condemn the world, but I came to save the world. John the Baptist who saw him said as the word of God in John 1: 29 said that “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! That is, because we are the sheep of his pasture, in his shed we have pasture. That shed is the church of God and its pasture means his true word.

That word enters into our soul as spirit and life and when we are born in this world as sinners and live as sinners and grow as sinners and when we do things which do not please God and when the sin is in fullness, our soul which has died he revives it by sending his word and so that we realize that we are sinners he opens our eyes and each one of our sins, iniquities and transgressions he makes us realize, reveals it and he delivers us from that sin and saves us and he is showing this as a pattern and so he gets down into the River Jordan and when he takes baptism by John the Baptist and comes up to the shore the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him and a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” is that we in this manner, according to the way he is showed we are dying for our sin and he is making us to live for righteousness and this is to be noted.

Also, he is telling that for thus it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness. After that only God is submitting him to the cross. There he dies and then later he resurrects. In this manner when we believe in the resurrected Christ, repent and confess our sins and when we wash ourselves by his holy blood and cleanse ourselves and when we sanctify ourselves in this manner and for our sins when we die with him through baptism by water and later when we rise up by his Spirit, his life enters into us. Then we are redeemed by his blood and we become his children. He becomes our Father.

In that manner, he gives us the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. Therefore, by baptism we are united in the image of his death and we are united also in the image of his resurrection. Before we take a covenant with him in this manner, many tribulations can come against us. God is showing us by using Jordan as a pattern regarding how we can overcome them.

In this manner, to become his own children let us obey everything and submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
