God has given
us many rules for us to follow in order to worship Him in the beauty of
holiness. He has given these rules through his words in the books of law,
through the words of His only begotten son – Jesus Christ, through his chosen
prophets, through his chosen apostles with love, by chastising us and by
warning us. This is known by almost all of us.
But we put
away the rules that God has given us and out of fear we follow the laws and
commandments put by man to please man. But we are hurting God. Let us think of
the times we have hurt God this way. Think about it for some time. Let us
reconcile with God.
That is what
is written in Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever
trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
1 John 1: 4
says - And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
Proverbs 28:25
says - 25 He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts
in the Lord will be prospered.
Who is a man
with proud heart? A person that hears God’s words, but does not fear Him, does
not obey Him and does or walks opposite to what God’s words tell him is a man
with a proud heart,
Jeremiah 17:
7,8 says - “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the
Lord.
For he shall
be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be
anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
It is time for
us to stop trusting man and the ways we walked and reconcile back with Christ.
Jeremiah 17:5
says - Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh
his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:
13 says - O Lord, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those
who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken
the Lord, The fountain of living waters.”
Whose name
will be written in the earth?
Jeremiah 17:
11 says - “As a partridge that broods but does not hatch, So is he who gets
riches, but not by right; It will leave him in the midst of his days, And at
his end he will be a fool.”
In these days
many people are taking and giving baptism. It is a right thing because Baptism
is a step that is shown to us by Our Father by sending his son Jesus. So many
among us are taking Baptism. We heard regarding the explanation of Baptism in
the previous days but let us meditate about it now.
But let us
think how we are taking Baptism. A grain of wheat unless it falls to the ground
and dies, it will not produce much grain. Today how many of us have received
this blessing.
We are
thinking that we are perfect. We think that we have no faults. We think our
name is in the Book of Life and we believe that and praise God.
But many do
not realize that they are actually far away from God and will be experiencing
sufferings in their lives.
When we
receive Baptism – we should hear the true word of God, walk according to the
truth and receive Baptism with the firm decision to walk according to the
truth.
Baptism is the
putting of the foundation along with Jesus the Cornerstone to include us to
build God’s temple within us.
1 Corinthians
3: 12, 13 says - Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver,
precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
each one’s
work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be
revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
(Fire – is the word of God)
We will think
that our name is in the Book of Life. But we have to make sure that our name is
not in the earth at least from today by reading, meditating God’s word. Please
analyze yourself and think.
1 Peter 1: 17,
18, 19 - And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according
to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in
fear;
knowing that
you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your
aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
but with the
precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
My dearly
beloved in Christ, in Exodus 33: 5 – 9 - For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say
to the children of Israel, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. I could come up into
your midst in one moment and consume you. Now therefore, take off your
ornaments, that I may know what to do to you.’”
So, the
children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by Mount Horeb.
Moses took his
tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the
tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought the Lord
went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.
So it was,
whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each
man stood at his tent door and watched Moses until he had gone into the
tabernacle.
And it came to
pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and
stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
We have to
think – Whom will God dwell with? This each one of us should know. If we walk
according to our own desires, God cannot dwell with us. Many people will give
false teachings and gather lot of people under them but during God’s judgement
will experience much pain.
My dearly
beloved in Christ, due to such mistakes – we fail to obey the rules of God. We
should realize regarding our decrease in prayer, lack of meditation of God’s
word and submit ourselves to God.
That is what
is written in Proverbs 31: 10 – Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is
far above rubies.
In Proverbs
31:11 - The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of
gain.
My dearly
beloved, we have to find the true church of God and receive the experience of
heaven. This is what is written in the verses mentioned above and not regarding
worldly marriage and we should realize this. Only in the true church of Christ
– God’s truth will be spoken – we should all realize that.
Not only that,
many do not realize what is the truth and keep telling that they are the true
church.
If we are
truly God’s children and we walk according to the truth we will be God’s treasure.
Our bridegroom is the Lord Jesus Christ. If we walk according to the truth He
will lead us in the path of all his truth.
Malachi 3:17
says - “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make
them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his
own son who serves him.”
Many of us are
ignoring the laws in the Bible. In Matthew 5: 17, 18 - “Do not think that I
came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to
fulfill.
For assuredly,
I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no
means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
In our law is
very important. Romans 7: 7 says - What shall we say then? Is the law sin?
Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the
law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You
shall not covet.”
The law
teaches us about our sin.
Romans 7: 12
says – Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
Romans 7: 14
says - For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Many times we
desire not to do sin but we do sin without thinking.
That is why in
Romans 7: 15, 16, 17 it says - For what I am doing, I do not understand. For
what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.
If, then, I do
what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.
But now, it is
no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
So we should
think about it. If we understand this, it will be useful to grow and maintain
holiness in our lives.
Romans 7: 21,
22 says - I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to
do good.
For I delight
in the law of God according to the inward man.
1 John 3: 4
says – Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3: 5
says - And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him
there is no sin.
We must
realize that in order to carry away the sins in our soul God manifested in our
souls. That is why in 1 John 3: 7 - Little children, let no one deceive you. He
who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
Therefore in 1
John 1: 6 - If we say that we have
fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the
truth.
1 John 1: 7 –
10 says - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship
with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all
sin.
(Therefore my
dearly beloved, when we accept God’s word only – living word comes into us.
From the living word – Christ – the life will be revealed.)
If we say that
we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess
our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
If we say that
we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
Therefore
dearly beloved, let us analyze ourselves in these days to see how holy we are.
Let us confess our mistakes to God. Let each one of us think regarding how to
grow in the truth, how the truth has to be in us so that the Lord’s anger on us
and the countries will be removed. Let us all worship God in the beauty of
holiness and pray.
May the Lord
God bless you all.
